VD: A Tiktok from @dejaysus of me carving a little carrot tiger skewered on a toothpick, and boiling it to prepare it to feed to my red cherry shrimp tank. They accept it and start picking away. Not a big swarm today because they got fed yesterday. I spot a surprise translucent blue and black spotted baby shrimp, which i suspect is from Malbec the dark red shrimp with a blue tinge. Soundtrack is Year Of The Tiger by St Vincent.

VD: a Tiktok from @dejaysus of my red cherry shrimp tank, explaining I've been too sick to post but the shrimp are thriving. The skull centrepiece is now dwarfed by a jungle of java moss that the shrimp love hiding in, and the pothos I've rooted in the water and Ludwigia repens in the substrate are growing wild. There is a new yellow baby (Banana) and a pink one (Worm) because I don't have a cull tank and love the chaos. The soundtrack is Belle-Skinner's cover of Sprout and the Bean by Joanna Newsom.
