There’s a difference between people with the mindset of “I have to pray, I have to fast, I have to give charity, etc.” and people with the mindset of “I get to pray, I get to fast, I get to give charity.” They’re both doing the work, but one is appreciative, and one has turned themselves into a victim.

I have never regretted losing anything other than the times when I felt I had lost my connection with Allah Subhanahuwata'ala. Only He matters, nothing and no one else other than Him.

Sufyān ibn ‘Uyaynah رحمه الله said:

Those who completely rely on Allah s.w.t, they are never disappointed. Disappointment comes from the creation, not the creator himself.

"My love language is dua. When you love someone you make dua for them. There is nothing better that you can give to someone except for dua. You can literally make dua for someone's happiness. You can make dua to Allah for their goodness."

Narrated Abu Hurairah (r) : Allah's messenger (sw) said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil till I love him. Then I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection, I will protect him, and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him' "

Truly the quran deserves my utmost attention and time.
