the fears of living a horrible life was way behind matthew as he spent it playing around, and leaving the responsibility where it belonged ; far away from him. at least he was good at separating work and his personal life ( sort off ) â- everything was good in life, and he didnât have bring in his family into the stirring pot of a mess. it had been another day where matthew found himself surfing the limited social media sites he had downloaded on his phone when he came across his friendâs ad. his eyes simply blinked several times, seeing that no one had yet to answer it. but something had possessed him to offer his place to stay as his fingers glided across his screen: âhey, you! my place is always available to stay :)â all was said and done, and all that was left was if she actually wanted to stay in the same home as him.
the urgency of finding a place to stay caused her to keep scrolling in hopes for a new message to pop in. looking above at the person who had responded to her plea for help, haein was taken aback at who it was. she didnât know him well at all and honestly, their first encounter was still a bit hazy in her mind. matthew was a friendâs friend at a party, seemed friendly from her first impression of him and somehow over the course of the get-together, they had exchanged socials. other than that, there wasnât anything else that she could remember; he hadnât stood out to her as she was more focused on leaving the party at the time. although it was generous of him, she hesitated to reply to his message because first of all, she was hoping for a female roommate. second, she barely knew matthew and didnât know what kind of a person he was. after waiting around three hours and seeing no other offers, it seemed like her weekend residence would be at matthewâs. he wasnât exactly a first choice as her roommate, but it would better than living on the streets. after all, beggars couldnât be choosers. finally pressing on his message she replied with:Â âthank you!! can i take you up on your offer then?â
