“The quicker this year seems to be going by, the more anxiety I get. When they say your senior year happens in the blink of an eye.. They aren’t kidding.”

“One of the few upsides of being a teacher, I get to see senior year happen over and over and over like a forever version of groundhog day.”

“goodness - it feels so weird to be back. it was a culture shock leaving and moving to a new country, but it kind of feels like one coming back too.”

“Where are you coming from?”

“i knew new york was wild - but this is a whole different level of insane. people really just don’t give a fuck and i’m kind of feeling those vibes right now.”

“Sometimes it’s nice, people not giving a fuck. For a while anyway.”

jo was wandering around lima’s town center, looking rather lost. his phone was in his hand, the maps app open, trying to figure out where in the hell the stupid cvs was. he had been walking aimlessly for probably about fifteen minutes now, not understanding how a town that seemed so simple, could be so confusing - after all, he was from new york, lima should be a breeze for him. he sighed, catching someone walking past him, “hi - sorry to bother you,” the broadway star spoke, “do you happen to know where the closest cvs is? i’m - lost as all hell,”

Jude paused when the guy asked him a question. “Yeah, no problem, it’s just up this road here, take a left to the light, then a right and it’ll be on your left side. they aren’t the good CVS but they’re the closest.”

“I am so glad  never got into that game. I know so many people who are completely addicted to it.”

“It feels like this script is never gonna get finished I swear, I don’t know how many more sleepless nights I can do either.”

“you should sleep. It helps to refresh and restore your brain. Not sleeping is going to make the work sloppier.”
