Method of Multiple but Individual .TXT File Publications VIA .PHP for AIM.
I need to create a way for my more up to date version of the AIM software to be more automated. I was thinking, that since there are now five places within the software for a user to manually input text (in the form of only a word or a sentence) instead of only two or three, each field needs to be saved individually, which is what I need to sort out.
If users do not have the software and are wanting to submit words or phrases for use in the generation side of the software they should be able to do it from their phones or computers, without needing to download anything.
So... Users will visit a website. The website will have a sentence made out, with five parts of the sentence being text boxes, allowing for specific area's of the sentence to be uniquely customized.
The users will fill out the text boxes, one by one, and then click the submit button located next to, or beneath the sentence / text boxes.
Now, this is the part I need to figure out.
The submit button will link with the .php script that I will need to create, which will perform the following task(s).
1. Load the text file that displays the count for the first text box and assign the value within it to a new integer.
2. Recognize the integer that was just created and add +1 to complete it.
3. Save the word(s) from the first text box to a new .txt file with the name being the same as the completed integer, in a folder specifically dedicated to that fraction of the sentence.
4. Update the first text box's count .txt file with the integer that was completed.
5. Do the same for the rest of the text boxes.
Once I have done this, users can then submit what appears to be a full sentence, however all of the different fractions of the sentence will be saved individually so that they are easy to download and store for use within the generation side of the software.
At the moment, this is what I have done. Although it still works, it is a little bit more time consuming on my end.
We all know that coming up with creative ideas can be difficult. Whether these ideas are to help you start a business, write a book, or create art, an idea will always be in my eyes, a seed.
As a seed grows and starts sprouting along the core stem, it is providing room for opportunity to grow. Eventually a sprout will grow out far from where it originated, with a heap of seeds, waiting to fall. When this happens, the seed that fell will once again perform the same cycle.
There is nothing relating closer to an idea, than a seed.
And that's what my ideas are. They are seeds, ready to be planted in the right soil so that they can grow freely, creating more possibilities.
