There was a local place that was a short walk away. A gesture before starting to head there. Maybe a little unsteady on his feet, but mostly fine.
PARAGON. "Cute." She rolls her eyes, following along close behind to be in reach should he fall. She knows full well the boy won't let her touch him if he has any say in the matter, so that's as far as she goes.
"But I'm not the one who's drunk here, am I? If all yer blustering about projection is true, I'd like some proof." A cheeky fanged grin. "Ain'tcha some big-name detective?"
PARAGON. "Man, that stuff's not good for ya. I would know." She pouts at him. "Eat somethin', will ya? I'll buy you a beef bowl."
"I don't drink it because it's good for me." Though he was a bit intrigued at the second part of her statement.
"I can pay for my own bowl." Public drunkenness wasn't against the law, thankfully - though he wasn't technically old enough to drink legally.
... eh-
A hand was lifted and waved, dismissing her concerns. "If you insist."

FEATHERED. A text at this hour is uncommon, and Futaba is perhaps the only person he could think of that would send so many messages in so little time. It's perplexing, if he's honest-- especially since the Thieves have been giving him space ever since Akira's departure. He did ask for it, but something within him still aches for attention, for the connection he once had, however briefly.
Perhaps it is this deep-rooted yearning that prompts him not to simply ignore the buzz of each notification, and instead to pick up his cell phone. The ungodly amount of charms attached to it clink against each other as he scrolls up in his text list--
Ah. Interesting.
The little "read" indicator pops up on Sumire's side as he squints at the messages, intrigued. The first thing he sends in response is a simple greeting.
Akechi -> Yoshizawa: Yoshizawa-san. A pleasant surprise. ^^
As he continues reading, his brow knits in confusion. That's a bit of a pickle, isn't it? He doesn't drive, but-- hmm... perhaps this is an opportunity presenting itself.
Akechi -> Yoshizawa: Don't worry so much. You'll give yourself wrinkles. Akechi -> Yoshizawa: I'm afraid I don't drive, but do you think your father would be all right with us taking the train? Akechi -> Yoshizawa: We could even make an outing out of it.
He probably shouldn't have sent that. Ah, well, no taking it back now.
Akechi -> Yoshizawa: Do forgive me. It has been... rather boring of late. I am glad for the change of pace.
She hadn't expected to receive a reply so quickly. In truth, Sumire had felt that reaching out to Akechi was a long shot and that there simply wouldn't be any response. It wasn't like he owed her anything, and they weren't friends. Were they? It... felt confusing to think about what their relationship was, since the only time they could have really had to bond had been... taken away.
And yet- with just a few minutes, before she could really settle into acceptance over the fact that she would either have to try to come up with another idea, or accept that she was going to be missing this meet (perhaps she could ask Sakura-san or Niijima-san?), there was a bzzt with a small ding.
A reply.
-- and another long moment where she had to try to calm her nerves enough to be able to look at the message.
At first, the messages seemed to be either teasing or... mean? No, teasing. Playfully, she hoped. Tone through text was always difficult for her to parse, and it felt even more incomprehensible coming from Akechi.
Ah. So he didn't drive. It had been just an assumption that he would have his license, though now that she thought about, Sumire had never seen him behind the wheel of a car.
She had been partway through starting to type up a response ('oh! That's fine thank you for-') when his next messages came through.
A train? That would be... she'd had to really work at convincing her father was would be safe, but Akechi-kun was a figure he still viewed as trustworthy. That should be fine.
Sumire -> Akechi: I'll ask my father to make sure that is okay Sumire -> Akechi: If it is then we'll want to plan to leave tomorrow Sumire -> Akechi: I'll pay for the tickets! And your meals! Sumire -> Akechi: Thank you so much Akechi-kun
She was probably pulling him away from something important just for this. She owed him something big.
FEATHERED. He can't help but be amused by her hesitance, and then immediate agreement. Yoshizawa-san had always been like that, even before the whole disaster of Maruki's attempted 'perfect world', and it gives him precious little comfort that it's a consistent aspect of her personality.
Akechi -> Yoshizawa: Of course. I've found myself with rather a lot of free time lately. Akechi -> Yoshizawa: Perhaps I could write this off as community service. Not that this is obligatory.
He taps his fingers against the table he's sitting at, closing his eyes for a moment. It's dangerous to allow himself too much introspection at the moment, but--
He misses interacting with people he doesn't hold disdain for, and maybe, just maybe, this will help him recover from the absence of the only person in the world he trusts wholeheartedly. He picks up his phone again.
Akechi -> Yoshizawa: If I can be honest for a moment... It's just nice to hear from a familiar face.
Was that too sentimental? Ugh. He pulls up the transportation website on his phone to try and purchase the tickets.

Without a second thought, she redirects her Seikret, barreling toward the Rathian at full speed. Gemma calls after her in concern and distress, but she pays her no mind, pulling the reins back a short distance away and hopping off the bird's back with the practiced ease of a true Rider.

She seems familiar to Haru, actually-- something about that bright red eye is rather notable. Maybe she's been around Shujin a while? Still, she dusts off her slightly rumpled skirt and approaches.
"Okumura-san, right? Oh, or was it -senpai?" She laughs nervously, glancing aside. "I can never remember."
Looking back at Haru, she gives the older girl a fanged smile. "How're they farin'?"
