so i drew another old dnd character

introducing Maybelle Collins

the southern belle who moved to the big city in hopes of being able to send money to her downtrodden grieving family. there she falls into dark times and discovers illicit substances as a means of coping. one night, in a drug-induced stupor, she got a glimpse of horrors unimaginable.

she encountered a great old one. since then she has felt an eldritch energy coursing through her body.

Maybelle feels she must fulfill some duty to this great entity through they don’t even notice she exists.

i'd like everyone to meet Delilah

this my beloved halfling paladin that was my first tav for Baldur's Gate 3. she has sworn an Oath of Devotion to Ilmater after decades of following Loviatar. she's not the conventional monster killing paladin. she slays figurative monsters no matter what they are.

her oath to Ilmater drives her to alleviate the suffering of others and she will go to great lengths to ensure that; even death is a viable option. additonally, she hold herself to a higher standard of perfection and rightousness than she does others. Delilah believes that she should never make a mistake.

during the course of my game she romanced Astarion and truthfully i'm still capivated by that idea narratively.
