♕Oliver Queen♕

Sara caught the keys, her smirk growing into a grin, “Then what’s the point of driving?” And he wasn’t getting his keys back. She quickly grew serious again as she asked, “Do you have enough first aid supplies back at your place in case you need anything?” She was already moving towards him in an attempt to help him out of the bunker if he needed it - whether he liked it or not.

“To get somewhere safe, lead foot.” He teased back as she approached. “Considering I roam the streets at night in green leather, I try and stay stocked up just in case.” He was serious at least, even if his tone said otherwise. “I’m fine.” He waved her off as he stood up slowly. His ego took enough of a beating tonight.

     INSULTS came as easy as Cheryl Blossom as breathing. Everything else concerning Oliver was far more difficult, complex. There was an increasing amount of reasons why they shouldn’t be together. However, she couldn’t stay away. Draw like a moth to a flame. “ Maybe your team just doesn’t like you , to let you run around dressed like that . Really you should be thanking me for my honesty . ” The kiss she gave him was only enough to shut her up temporarily. “ Now that is where you are wrong Arrow…I much prefer you out of it . “

He chuckled against her lips at the comment and proceeded to grin  when their lips met again. “Maybe you should ask them yourself?” He countered. Her statement however caused him to catch her bottom lip, tugging and releasing as he rose a brow. “So.. why don’t you show me just how you prefer me?”

Sara didn’t care about her hands and when Oliver reached for her waist, she pressed one to his arm to remind herself that he’d made it through. That he was still here. A small smirk tugged at her lips when he said that she could drive, “Either the pain meds have made you completely loopy, or you’re trying to butter me up.” Because Oliver Queen always liked to be in the driver’s seat.

If only for a moment, Oliver was able to hold her and show her that he was okay. Of course the moment was fleeting as he heard the smile in her voice. The archer released her waist and shook his head, moving to slip his shoes on before tossing the keys behind him at her. “Oliver Queen is just fine and he’d like to keep his heart pumping so no fast and the furious or I take the keys back.”

Sara slid on her boots, not even having to look up at him to know that he wasn’t happy with her response. “I’ve been here for weeks, Ollie; I didn’t want to be a pain in my dad’s ass and take over his living room.” The apartment wasn’t very big to begin with. “I still have a few hideouts in the city - one of them being the clock tower - so I’ve been staying there.” Her cot, some blankets, some Patty Shack. Definitely not the worst place she’d ever stayed.

It didn’t matter that she hadn’t looked up at him, he knew why she was avoiding his gaze... or his glower, rather. “Does your father know you’re staying in an abandoned clock tower?” He countered with a raised brow, reaching up to run his face. “You can’t stay there, Sara. Why didn’t you say something to me? You know I have room. Hell, if you were that dead set against staying with me, the bunker is a far better option.”

It had been a hectic mission. They had used Felicity as bait and it hadn’t gone as well as planned. She had been caught in the cross hairs and injected with a small amount of vertigo before an arrow (Oliver or Thea’s she wasn’t sure) had sunk into her attacker. Despite the drug in her system she had been more worried about Diggle on the ground. With everyone’s help they had managed to get Digg back to the foundry where Felicity started to work on him. He had a gunshot wound to his right shoulder and was out cold. She pulled the bullet out, constantly shooting down the concerns of her team as she did so. It was only when the last stitch was in Digg’s arm and he was hooked up to an IV did she start to feel the effects. She knew it had only been a small dose, but her adrenaline had taken over before the drug could take effect. She sunk into her desk chair and leant her forehead on the cool glass desk, her arms wrapped around her waist, hugging herself.  “Did that guy really do that to me? How dare he? I mean who has the nerve to drug me? I’m already pretty weird…oh maybe he wanted me to shut up for once. I know I annoy all of you with my constant babbling, like now but I can’t seem to stop so I think I will keep going.” She lifted her head and pulled her arms from around herself. She lifted her hand to her face and then turned to face Oliver using her chair.  “Hey when did I start bleeding?”

The night had hardly gone as planned and worse, Felicity was hurt. Between her and Dig, concern coursed through the archer’s veins as he had watched Felicity working on their friend. He paced, constantly asking her if she was okay. She got injected didn’t she? She’d likely feel the effect by now but Oliver was far from a doctor and he was more concerned that Diggle was going to wake up and pop one of the stitches Felicity worked on. When the male was set up, Oliver was distracted, setting Diggle up with a blanket where he laid over the table to regulate his body temperature before realizing Felicity wasn’t standing there.
