Shock and Surprise in Festerwound!
Upset in the long-forgotten case of Porrim Maryam this week, as a civilian witness recently uploaded footage of the actual events which took place on the day of her disappearance. The footage shows that the noble imperial drone was not in fact attempting to protect her from an assailant, but was actually trying to detain her for unknown reasons. The responsibility for the droneβs destruction, using as-of-yet unknown means, lies not upon an alien captor, but on the once upstanding citizen herself, Porrim Maryam. After performing this blatantly illegal and irresponsible act of sabotage against our public defenders, she left a seditious message in graffiti on the nearby wall, the private property of a local business owner, and many surely unsettling texts littering the ground nearby. Itβs currently unknown why this evidence was not present when news crews arrived only hours later.
In order to prevent the potential of public unrest by means of viewing this horribly graphic footage, empire officials attempted to remove the video entirely. Unfortunately, the internet has taken it upon themselves to save and spread this footage in as many places as possible, likely as a form of shock video. The troll responsible for the original recording is unknown, as it was uploaded completely anonymously. Officials are investigating and have assured us that anybody undermining public safety is being investigated to their fullest ability.
It is unknown how this relates to the disappearance of Kankri and the antics of fugitive Meenah Peixes.
