Until Harry Potter isn't profitable for JKR, any support of it generates interest, generates marketing, which generates funding in the long run. The only way to make a significant impact on JKR is to defund her, because you can talk all you want, but what does that Actually Do to her?

You pirate her stuff, buy it secondhand maybe? Still generates interest, she still makes money in the long run because People Still Want It, so she still makes it. When that changes, when suddenly the number of people that want her content plummets irreversibly, that's when she'll finally start taking the hit. Your interest gives her licensing deals, which pay her more or less upfront. The continued platforming of it, by any means, ultimately funds a hate group.

Try as you might, you can not separate her from Harry Potter so long as she lives, and your continued interest in the franchise platforms and ultimately funds JKR, one of the biggest figureheads of Terfism I've ever seen.

Harry Potter as a franchise has flaws, and those flaws can be discussed to death, but none of it is relevant, not here. Lycanthropy as an Aids metaphor? Slytherin white supremacy? The Jewish stereotype made of the bankers? The Literal God Damn Slace Race? Real flaws, genuine issues with the work itself, but Harry Potter as a work is irrelevant here beyond what it does for her, which is Give Her A Funded Platform.
