Anywho.
If anyone wants to RP with Stevie, let me know.)

"Did it give you closure?" He questioned him as he looked from the other back to the piece of paper that was in his hands, taking a deep breath as he did so. "Why did you go to the museum today?"
"It did," Steve replied. "I went because… I wanted to see what it was like. What Captain America had done." He shook his head. "It was the first time I had gone, and then I saw the memorial…"
"He must have been a good buy, if people wanted to remember him," James answered him, setting the paper back down as there was an evident crease of confusion forming between his brows.
Steve kept an eye on James, but he didn't know what to do other than give him some space. He glanced at the box and sighed as he reached for a picture he didn't quite remember drawing.

James was still stood stoic in the middle of the room he had been left in, having already assessed the room for any form of threat, as if waiting for an order that he was allowed to sit down. James didn’t offer anything in form of a response before he stepped towards one of the boxes, cautiously lifting it in order to see what was inside.
Steve peered into the other room for a minute while his food was cooking. He ducked back into the room, knowing he was hovering and slightly embarrassed by it. He just wanted to be sure James was okay.
He knew that the other was hovering but didn’t say a word about it, flickering through a few things that were in the box in front of him, confusion written on his face as he was trying to understand what they were saying.
Steve turned off the stove when the soup was hot. He took less than half of what was in the pot before sitting at the table with a spoon and a glass of water. He ate slowly, giving James a chance to process some of what he was seeing.
James was still looking through the things when he came back, eyes flickering over to him before picked up a letter, his brow creasing faintly in confusion as he read it. “Is this the letter they sent you when I ‘died’?” He asked quietly, showing him the paper.
Steve glanced at the letter and nodded. "Yeah, it is," he replied. "I held onto it because... well, I thought it had given me closure." He shook his head with a sad smile.

James nodded as he took a few steps in order to follow him, though keeping his distance out of impulse. His brow creased for a moment in confusion at the others offer before he shook his head. “No. I’m fine.”
Steve nodded and walked out of the museum. He wasn’t sure what James was hoping to get from this, but he hoped he could help. “It’s a little bit of a walk,” he apologized, “but we’ll get there.”
James followed him, making sure to keep a step behind him so that he could watch what was going on around him and be prepared should anything happen. “I don’t mind walking.”
Steve nodded and they walked down the street toward his apartment. He led them inside and unlocked it, turning to look at him with an apologetic look. “It’s small.”
He carefully stepped in behind the other, eyes flickering around the apartment for any signs of threats that may become apparent to himself. “Seen worse.”
Steve nodded. He moved into his bedroom and grabbed a couple boxes of things he'd kept that had belonged to James. He took them out to the living room and set them down, looking back at the man and stepping back. "Make yourself comfortable. I'm gonna heat up some soup. Let me know if you need anything."

(Who wants to play with Steve?)

"Maybe," He answered him, looking away for the moment as he stared at the ground. He still had to find a place that he could stay. Though he knew that it wouldn’t be the first time that he had slept rough, he was used to it by now. He cleared his throat for a moment before looking at the other. "Steve?" He asked hesitantly, taking a step towards him.
Steve stopped when James called his name, turning back toward him. “Yeah?” He wasn’t sure what the man wanted or needed, but if he needed something he’d do his best to help him.
James looked over at the other with hesitance flickering across his eyes, unsure of how to really voice his needs before he finally picked up the words to speak. “You knew him…I want to know what he was like,” He said carefully, unsure of how to ask for the others help.
Steve nodded. He’d been living in his apartment for a few months and had managed to make friends with the woman across the hall. Since he’d discovered she worked for SHIELD, she was able to get some things for him. “I’ve got some things that belonged to him,” he said softly. “Mostly pictures I drew and his dog tags, but it’s a good place to start.”
He looked over at the other carefully as he listened to him, nodding his head after a moment. “Can I see them?” He questioned the other uncertainly, as if he found it hard to speak for himself or to actually have his own opinions.
"Yeah," Steve said. His face lit up at that. "Of course you can. Come on, the stuff's in my apartment." He grinned and started toward the exit again. "I can make dinner for you, too, if you'd like."

Steve slid up behind Bucky, laying a gentle hand on his shoulder. He hated when Bucky had nightmares and didn't want to startle the man, but he needed to let the man know he wasn't alone.
Bucky smiled up tiredly at Steve, reaching for him with his flesh hand. It always made him so sad when he woke the younger man.
"Yeah that’s what you always said."
Steve shrugged. “I don’t feel that bad,” he said. “I just wanna lay here with you.”
"That I can do," Buck agreed. "And the medicine of this age is a marvel. And we don’t have to worry about paying for it either."
Steve nodded and turned his head, coughing into his arm. He shivered and curled up next to Bucky, closing his eyes as he did.
Bucky frowned when he felt how warm Steve’s forehead was, but didn’t push the issue.
Steve shifted closer to Bucky. “Might not be as okay as I thought,” he mumbled.
"Getting that impression," Bucky said dryly.
Steve coughed again and curled up in Bucky’s arms. “Will you take care of me?”
"Course, I will Stevie," Bucky murmured.
Steve tucked himself into the crook of Bucky's arm and shivered. "It's cold."
