my dash is very slow anyway, most of my rp partners in here are on hiatus or gone and I have very few drafts, so the only way to rp more would be to mass-follow. Since I can't, I'm not on these dashes. I'll be more proactive on my other blogs when I have more time! (though before you are offended, I did 99% of the meme sending, starter-writing, and plotting on this blog, I don't usually expect people to reach out! This is temporary. But I go where there is more engagement because I either hyper-focus through consistent writing or don't focus!)

he  was  kicking  himself  on  the  inside  for  allowing  this  to  happen  to  @justaprankhan.  he  shouldn't  have  let  her  go  out  like  that  alone,  scouting  out  rick's  people,  observing  what  they  may  or  may  not  be  up  to.  at  the  very  least,  he  should've  sent  people  with  her,  but  he  had  given  in  to  her  when  she  continued  to  insist  that  she  was  capable  to  go  out  alone.  he  won't  make  that  mistake  again,  not  a  chance  he  would.

when  she  returned,  leg  bruised  and  bloodied,  his  men  had  quickly  carried  her  inside  and  taken  her  up  to  the  sanctuary's  doctor.  he  concluded  that  it  was  nothing  serious,  just  a  scrape  that  needed  some  stitching  and  attention.  she  was  patched  up  and  the  doctor  had  left  hannah  and  negan  alone  in  the  room.  negan  hadn't  said  a  word,  angry  with  himself  and  partially  angry  with  her  for  not  being  more  careful.  he  took  it  upon  himself  to  finish  the  bandaging,  taping  it  against  her  wound  to  prevent  any  further  bleeding  from  the  stitches.  he  stayed  quiet  as  he  finished  patching  her  wound...  lips  pressed  together  and  veins  popping  out  from  his  neck.  he  knew  if  he  said  anything  right  now,  it  wouldn't  come  out  in  the  right  manner  and  this  whole  thing  was  entirely  his  blame.

a  hearty  laugh  bellowed  from  negan's  chest  at  her  words.  ❛  hell,  you  and  me  both,  kid.  there's  a  reason  why  we  got  communities  helpin'  us  by  growin'  food  and  lookin'  for  resources.  we  got  lots  of  mouths  to  feed  in  here,  includin'  yours,  and  if  you're  hungry  as  hell  for  a  nice,  juicy  steak,  i'll  find  you  one,  ❜  he  assured  her,  smirking  widely  which  caused  his  eyes  to  glint  with  humor.  it  was  true.  if  she  wanted  a  steak,  or  him,  then  he  could  make  that  happen.  it  was  like  magic  with  the  way  thing  worked  around  here,  but  it  wasn't.  he  didn't  get  into  this  position  of  power  overnight,  he  didn't  inherit  this  power  from  generations.  he  built  this  empire  from  the  ground  up  and  goddamn  it,  if  he  wanted  a  steak,  he'd  get  one.

❛  men  suck,  darlin',  i  can't  blame  you  for  that  one.  honestly,  in  this  world,  it's  hard  to  trust  anyone   —   woman  or  man.  everyone  is  lookin'  out  for  their  own  backs  or  their  own  people.  that's  why  i  think  it'd  be  a  hell  of  a  smart  move  for  you  to  stay  here.  you'll  always  have  someone  lookin'  out  for  you  when  you're  not  lookin'  over  your  own  shoulder.  mainly  me,  ❜  he  reassured  her,  confidence  booming  in  his  voice  and  his  devilish  smirk  still  decorating  his  lips.  he  always  looked  out  for  his  own  people,  no  matter  how  small,  but  especially  the  ones  that  proved  to  be  the  strongest  and  he  could  tell  she  had  quite  the  potential  to  do  some  good  right  at  his  side.  whatever  he  considered  to  be  good,  anyway.  he  couldn't  help  but  laugh  along  with  her  when  she  couldn't  utter  the  words  'monkey  balls'  as  he  did.  he  leaned  back  in  his  chair  and  tilted  his  head,  ❛  don't  worry,  darlin',  we  got  you  a  nice,  warm  bed  and  food  every  day  for  the  rest  of  your  goddamn  life  as  long  as  you  do  your  part  jus'  as  everyone  else  here,  ❜  he  told  her.

he  leaned  in  across  the  table  when  @justaprankhan  began  to  speak  her  outrage  for  what  the  man  did  to  that  poor  kid.  he  was  intrigued  by  the  anger  that  bubbled  up  inside  her,  waiting  to  burst  out.  he  could  use  that.  she  could  use  that.  a  wicked  grin  twisted  the  corner  of  his  lips  and  he  points  at  her  with  his  gloved  index  finger,  ❛  you  did  what  you  had  to  do   —   use  that.  never  forget  that  shit,  it's  powerful,  ❜  he  stated  firmly,  lips  pressed  together  for  a  moment.  a  silent  beat  passes.  he  nodded  at  her  compliment,  ❛  she  is  pretty  damn  cool,  ❜  he  responded,  glancing  over  at  his  beloved  bat  then  back  at  hannah.  he  waved  his  hand  at  her  words,  ❛  i  have  much  bigger  plans  for  you  than  laundry  and  cleanin',  sweet-heart.  your  talents  are  much  more  needed  somewhere  like  the  frontlines,  keepin'  people  in  line  they're  fuckin'  supposed  to  ...  ❜

He seemed so sure she'd be safe there, but Hannah knew better. She'd be safer than alone, yes, and she had all intentions of staying for now, but at this point, she just couldn't believe it would last. It never did. It started before the end of the world, didn't it? It's you. "I'll stay... and I'll do everything you want me to do to earn my place...I'll watch your back," she promised, the same way he said he'd do for her, and her tone softened as she continued: "It's not going to work. One or more of your men will want me dead for what I did, or... someone else will come to kill me, and it will be more convenient to give me up, or maybe I'll just make someone mad somehow... and then I'll have to run. Or die. You'll see." Complete acceptance in her tone, even a little sympathy for him and his attempt to help someone who had just murdered one of his men - albeit, for a reason they both agreed was good. "When that happens... thank you for trying."

faith's  eyes  glazed  over  the  files  they  were  able  to  steal  from  the  principal's  office.  they  were  out  looking  for  a  new  potential  that  willow  was  able  to  locate  right  here  in  their  very  own  sunny-hell.  faith  brought  hannah  along  with  her  because  it  seemed  like  hannah  needed  to  get  away  from  the  chaos  at  the  summers'  bunker.  she  reminded  faith  a  lot  of  herself,  at  least  who  she  used  to  be  years  ago.  she  could  relate  to  her.

faith's  eyes  shot  up,  caught  completely  off  guard  by  hannah's  random  remark.  she  closed  the  files,  tilting  her  head  and  listening  to  the  other  girl  explain  further  what  she  was  thinking.  a  small  smirk  stretches  the  older  slayer's  lips,  ❛  ain't  nothin'  wrong  with  creepin'  the  normies  out.  'sides,  who  wants  to  be  normal,  anyway  ?  not  that  a  pair  of  super-chicks  could  ever  tread  the  side  of  normal  ...  ❜  she  responded,  hoping  her  blunt  words  were  enough  to  give  the  newbie  slayer  some  sense  of  comfort.

❛  people  listen  to  me  'cause  they  don't  have  a  choice.  bein'  hot  is  just  a  bonus,  ❜  she  quipped  back.  she  lightly  nudges  hannah's  shoulder,  playfully,  with  her  fist.  ❛  now,  stop  with  the  long  face  and  let's  go.  we  don't  have  much  time.  ❜

"... it's not a long face, it's my face," she muttered, following the real slayer and thinking of what Dawn had suggested discussing with her. All that rage and the bloodlust she had been concerned about. "When we find this new girl and bring her home... I think I need to talk to you. Like, in private, not with fifty other girls listening." It hadn't been the worst, to have people around her again, but it was also a little too much. Just then, a vampire ran out of the bushes with a growl, and all of Buffy's training to make sure they'd have ready reflexes showed in Hannah pulling out a hairspray and lighter from her pockets, leaving the stake still sticking out of her jacket, as she set the vampire's face on fire. Caught off guard, he stumbled back, and that was when Hannah grabbed her stake, but also run up to kick him as hard as she could. She wasn't a super chick just yet, she obviously had to cheat.

rick  was  quick  to  protest  against  her  defensive,  insecure  words.  he  shook  his  head,  holding  judith  close  with  one  hand  on  the  back  of  his  daughter's  head  and  the  other  coming  out  to  gently  rest  atop  hannah's  shoulder.  ❛  that  ain't  true,  you  know  that.  if  it  weren't  for  you,  my  kids  might've  not  made  it.  you  saved  them,  hannah,  i  don't  take  that  lightly  ...  ❜  he  tells  @justaprankhan,  staring  into  her  watery  eyes  just  to  make  sure  she  knew  he  was  being  serious.  he  didn't  look  at  hannah  like  some  random  person  off  the  street,  some  stranger  he  didn't  know.  he  looked  at  her  like  someone  that  was  a  part  of  his  newfound  family.  she  risked  her  life  for  his  children  and  that  was  more  than  what  a  lot  of  people  would've  done  for  him.  he  hadn't  known  hannah  for  too  long,  hell,  he  barely  knew  her  since  she's  joined  alexandria,  but  that  meant  her  saving  his  kids  more  to  him.  he  could  trust  her;  she  proved  that.

❛  oh,  i  know  what  you  mean,  ❜  he  nodded  in  understanding,  thinking  about  his  past  as  he  spoke  to  her,  sharing  vulnerable  emotions.  there  was  a  time  before  alexandria  when  rick  had  a  difficult  time  being  around  anyone  and  it  all  boiled  down  to  losing  faith  and  trust  in  the  human  race.  those  men  ...  they  were  going  to  violate  his  son.  he  had  no  choice,  but  to  make  them  suffer  for  even  thinking  such  vile  thoughts.  when  it  came  to  his  children,  rick  didn't  leave  anything  to  guess.  they  were  his  whole  world.  he  was  eternally  grateful  to  hannah  for  protecting  his  world.  he  took  in  a  deep  breath,  his  arms  tightening  around  judith  as  he  breathed,  ❛  i  know  what  that's  like.  not  being  able  to  trust  anyone,  sleepin'  with  one  eye  open.  t's  better  when  you're  with  people  you  CAN  trust  ...  ❜  he  explained.  ❛  look,  m'  not  gonna  tell  you  what  t'  do,  but  if  you  were  gonna  ask  me  ...  i'd  rather  you  stay.  ❜

rick  couldn't  help  the  humored  smile  that  danced  on  his  lips  at  hannah's  next  words.  judith  giggled  and  rick  leaned  in  to  press  a  loving  kiss  to  the  top  of  his  daughter's  head.  ❛  she's  pretty  cute,  isn't  she  ?  ❜  he  chuckled  lightly  and  then  nodded.  ❛  you're  right.  you're   —   absolutely  right.  't's  important  t'  be  with  family.  you're  part  of  that  now,  hannah  ❜  he  reassured  her,  offering  a  smile  of  confidence  and  care.

❛  glad  t'  hear  't.  i  think  you're  makin'  the  right  decision,  ❜  he  sighed  softly,  setting  down  judith  and  instructing  her  to  go  up  to  her  room  to  get  ready  for  bed.  he  straightens  his  posture,  ❛  you  had  anythin'  to  eat  yet  ?  ❜

She felt as if her heart was being squeezed while he played with his daughter, but it also took away all the tension from her shoulders. "I think... my family is alive, even it's been a while since we were separated, but... I have a big brother, and... I like to think he would protect me like I was trying to protect her." He would have, Josh would have, had he not been unconscious at the time of the prank that had landed her down the cliff. "And I can be babysitter when you are out on a date with Michonne."

"I can buy myself flowers."

negan  noted  how  her  posture  had  switched  from  shivering  fear  to  an  almost  casual  timid  as  if  she  was  getting  reacquainted  with  an  old  friend  from  the  past.  quite  the  contrary;  she  was  making  a  new  friend  and  so  was  negan.  he  hadn't  seen  her  full  potential  before  this  had  occurred,  but  now  that  he  could  see  her  ruthlessness  and  merciless  outlook  on  those  that  harmed  innocent  people,  he  was  over  the  moon  to  have  her  on  his  side.  he  wasn't  going  to  overlook  her  anymore.  he  didn't  point  out  the  way  her  attitude  had  switched  up  from  being  previously  scared  for  her  life.  he  wanted  to  see  her  most  authentic  self  because  that's  how  you  truly  get  to  know  a  person.

a  sly  smirk  tugs  at  the  corner  of  his  lips,  watching  her  mind  work  and  move  as  she  pondered  over  the  information  she  was  willing  to  share  with  him.  he  was  surprised  by  the  generous  amount  that  was  given  to  him,  but  he'll  take  what  she  was  willing  to  give.  he  tilts  his  head,  taking  in  everything  she  says  to  him,  ❛  damn,  it's  like  you  read  my  mind  or  somethin'.  got  any  superpowers  i  should  know  about,  supergirl  ?  ❜  he  teased,  a  single  brow  arched  in  playfulness.  ❛  all  good  things  to  know.  thank  you  for  makin'  this  such  a  breeze  to  deal  with.  i  usually  don't  like  dealin'  with  these  interviews,  ❜  he  begins,  pointing  an  index  finger  at  her,  ❛  usually  people  aren't  so  accommodating  and  easy  to  speak  with.  normally  lucille  ends  up  takin'  the  mic  for  me  ...  if  you  catch  my  drift,  sweet-heart  ❜  he  finished,  swinging  the  bat  over  his  shoulder  with  a  devilish  smirk  dancing  on  his  lips.  ❛  must've  really  sucked  monkey  balls  bein'  by  yourself  for  that  long  ...  well,  you  got  a  place  in  the  sanctuary  and  i  think  you've  already  earned  your  keep,  ❜  he  reassures  her.
