Finally finished the rough (and I do mean ROUGH) draft of the next chapter of Don't be Scared, Little Child. This chapter, along with work, dealing with my family (let's go mommy issues lmao), and my mental health are all kicking my ass in so many ways rn, BUT usually when I finish the rough draft it means I'm within a week or so of finishing the chapter.
Sorry I can't be one of those fanfic authors that update like crazy I unfortunately am not a overly motivated 14 year old anymore without regard for sleep (trust me, I wish I was) but thank you for those who like to stick it out I promise it will be worth it and I will not abandon this fic like ones I have in the past it just takes time because life gets in the way a lot.
Also side note but GUESS WHO finally got over a stupid crush she's had for multiple years now bc she realized that she can do so much better bc said crush lowkirkenuinely sucks (insert that kung fu panda gif where he's pointing to himself). Like any of you care but I need to tell someone and being a college kid home for the summer in my fuckass small town means all my friends live four hours away :(

The over masculinization of Mike wheeler and the over feminization of Will Byers just stems from the fact that a lot of people canāt stand that both are relatively gender-non conforming/androgynous in their own ways and these same people canāt stand their ship not having defined gender roles even when itās queer but yāall arenāt ready for that conversation.
Brandon Sanderson is interesting because in the majority of his body of work (especially his main cosmere universe) he kind of sits down across from you and says,

So McDonaldās is currently doing tales from 85 happy meals. The store I work at just got to the Mike Wheeler ones.
I was curious at first what color each toy would be to see if they pulled a blue and yellow scheme at all. At first I thought they didnāt, bc El is yellow and the demo I think is blue but then I looked closer.
The will toy may not have been yellow but his name on the box was. Mikes name on his box is blue. I donāt remember the color of wills toy, but mikes is orange.
The box of Mike is literally him surrounded by conformity orange. And guess which number toy he is too?
