kallamar has such a cute voice, doesnt he? narinderâs is so edgy, heketâs is⌠heketâs, leshyâs screechy and scratchy, and shamuraâs is rather ominous. i love them all, but kallamar definitely has the nicest.
i love bothering him throughout the day just to hear him speak, and heâs always pegged me as a person who loves to talk about himself, so he must love it too. though, it probably gets annoying after the fiftieth time i interrupt his conversations.
â
i unfortunately havent had much inspiration lately and havent drawn my glorious king kallamar as often, as well as being busy with other projects and animations ive been working on. ・ďž(ďžÂ´Đď˝ďž)ďžď˝Ą
BUT! BUT! BUT! if all goes well, you will be getting an animation of kallamar and leshy within a week or two, so be prepared!!! it likely wont be great, but i like anything if it has kallamar in it and you should too!!! o(ď˝Ď´ )

CotL comic-2: Between Forgiveness and Hatred(TW: blood)
âPart 1
íęľě´ë ěŹę¸° í´ëŚ(KOR ver)
CULT OF THE GOAT
An unfamiliar tension loomed between the two. Shamura had issued commands to the Bishops to seal Narinder away, waiting only for the perfect moment to strike. However, unlike in the world of the Lamb, in this realm, Narinder had foreseen the scheme. Thus, he turned the tables and proceeded to slaughter the Bishops. Yet, Narinder did not grant the Bishops âRest.â Consequently, the Bishops became trapped in Purgatory, suspended in a state neither dead nor alive. Though they could occasionally commune with the mortal realm through their statues remaining in ancient temples, the lands bereft of their rule soon lost all order and crumbled away. Meanwhile, Narinderâs minions were eradicating the remnants of the Old Faith. Ultimately, the Bishops were cast aside, left to wallow in endless despair and agony.
Then one day, the last remaining âGoatâ of the Old Faith lands was offered as a sacrifice, and Narinderâs minions swiftly claimed its life. However, there is one fact we must not overlook. Narinder, having become the One True God, was forced to govern the death and resurrection of countless followers simultaneously. Amidst that infinite flow of life, his gaze faltered for a mere instant, and thus, the Goat plummeted into Purgatory.
There, in the abyss, the Goat encountered the Bishops whom its ancestors once servedânow twisted into wretched forms. Shamura recounted the events that had transpired and implored the Goat. The Goat, having met an unjust end due to Narinder, accepted the proposal. In return, Shamura bestowed upon the Goat the Purple Crown, imbued with the power of knowledge and war. Indeed, the Goat was the âsingle mistakeâ of Narinder, the One True God. Yet, he could never have foreseen that this mi or oversight would one day grow into a cataclysmic calamity that would threaten his very existence.
Gameplay Progression
-Because the Goat is an imperfect entity severed from the natural flow of death, the moment its physical form collapses in battle, the Order of Death seeks to realign the twisted soul. To do so, it drags the Goat into the most stable realm available: the world of the Lamb. There, the Goatâs soul reclaims its form before being cast back to its original reality.
-Since the Goat exists only because Narinder failed to grant it eternal rest, the One Waits will eventually perceive this oversight as the story unfolds. He will deliberately dispatch his followers to drag the Goat before his throne. The Goat must either evade capture or slaughter these pursuers to survive.
The Goatâs True Heart
Originally, the Goat forged a pact with Shamura driven solely by a thirst for vengeance against Narinder. However, during its time with the Bishops, the Goat witnessed Shamuraâs profound vulnerability. Despite being cruelly imprisoned by Narinder, Shamura never bore a grudge against him; instead, they carried a heavy burden of guilt, believing the fault lay entirely with themselves. This sight stirred a fierce desire within the Goat to protect themâa feeling that, at some point, may have twisted into a form of love.
Furthermore, reuniting with Shamura in the world of the Lamb triggered a desperate need to compensate for the world the Goat had already lost. The cravingââI will not lose this being againââeventually festered into obsession and warped affection. There is a crucial truth here that cannot be ignored. The Goat is an entity denied rest by Narinderâs error, never having faced true death like the Bishops. Thus, it remains a âWandering Soul,â capable of traversing between Purgatory and the mortal plane. Deep in its subconscious, the Goat surely knows: the moment Narinder is defeted, both it and the Bishops will be liberatedâfading into eternal rest. Therefore, while outwardly displaying a vengeful drive to strike Narinder down, a conflicting truth lies hidden within: âI do not want to fade away,â and âI want to stay by Shamuraâs side.â
The Goat and Shamura
The GoatâShamura: The Goat seeks to protect Shamura at all costs. Since Shamura and the other Bishops have already perished in its own world, the Goat is fiercely protective of the Shamura it encounters in he world of the Lamb. In particular, knowing the depth of Narinderâs cruelty, the Goat remainsperpetually vigilant against him.
ShamuraâThe Goat: Shamura is aware that the Goat travels to and from another world, yet harbors no special affection for it. Occasionally, in moments of lucidity, Shamura may ask questions about the world the Goat inhabits, but there is nothing more between them.
References & Summary for the Goatâs Worldbuilding
-âThose vanquished in this life shall triumph in the next.â One of the Tarot cards obtainable as an unlock condition for the Goat, âThe Renegadeâs Victory,â seems to imply that in the Goatâs world, Narinder was the ultimate victor.
-The statue of the Goat is sculpted with its abdomen sliced open and ribs exposed, creating a distinct impression that, unlike the Lamb, the Goat met its end by being disemboweled.
-A Reddit Q&A also confirmed that the Goat harbors hatred toward Narinder. Furthermore, it is notable that official social media posts and merchandise frequently depict the Goat alongside Shamura.
-In the world of the Lamb, the Mystic Seller, who appears after Narinder is defeated, points out that the deceased Bishops have still not found peace. He commands the new God of Death to guide them to a true, complete death. Additionally, ancient tablets describe Narinder as âHe that lays a soul to rest.â
Comic review...
Now that the main story arc with the Bishops has concluded, this episode focuses on the arrival of the Goat to signal a new beginning. Since the Goatâs lore hasn't been fully fleshed out in-game yet, I built this comic based on the few available details plus my own personal headcanons. It might not be a grand interpretation like the last episode, but I really wanted to show you, "This is how I see the Goat's world!" After all, until the official story drops, weâre free to imagine whatever we want.
Massive Monster described the Goat as the Lamb's "dark reflection," so I imagined the Goat living in a world much graver and darker than the Lamb's. And I added the paradoxical idea that if the final boss, Narinder, is defeated, the Goat itself would cease to exist, which made me imagine that, despite being consumed by vengeance, the Goat would secretly be terrified of disappearing. Eventually, at the end of their story, the Goat will have to make a choice, just like the Lamb did when deciding whether or not to hand over the crown before The One Who Waits.
This episode was heavy on my own interpretation, but I hope the Goat's world gets officially implemented by the time I work on my next comic. Since creating a world distinct from the Lambâs would require a large scale, Iâd love to see it released as a DLC, similar to the recent Woolhaven DLC!
