Why?

They’re super scared of me getting super sick and them not being there. 

Phew, they better keep their word. Sorry if you told me and I just forgot but why are you at the hospital again?

Well, but you never know, right? Better safe than sorry. Not that I want to tell you any horror stories though. I probably haven’t spent enough time at hospitals to really be experienced but that description of that Jane Austen interior design only makes me wanna go even less.

Very true. Ugh it’s awful. They said they were going to move me to another floor after tests today which I’m super grateful for. 

It’s still a pain in the ass to run.

I own the business so uhm yeah, I have a job and I’m not worried about it.

Even better! You don’t have to worry so don’t look at it like it’s a negative. There are so many people out of work. You’re thankfully not one of them.

Oh come on, at least you have a job to have to go to business meetings to. It could be worse.

My cousin had this family reunion and my parents begged me to go with them.

Aw that’s nice. My parents were hesitant on leaving Boston, and I bet they’d beg me to come back.

“I know, that’s what I’m saying. Pleasure’s all mine. So, what’s there to do for fun around here?”

“Well I got here like last Thursday, and then unpacked, and then got myself sick and admitted into the hospital so I can help you out.”

It’s the only place I’ve ever considered home.
