In which Alastor attempts to brute force his way through his reinvigorated tough aversion in the aftermath of his experience at V-Tower and Vox’s violation of his person. It goes about as well as one might expect. Thankfully, Lucifer is there to gentle the inevitable collapse and provide the counterweight needed to steady himself within this new paradigm he has found himself in. And in a audacious attempt to get himself back to his old self he decides that a tea party with his dandy little Niffty is the best way to begin – and true to form things go awry and chaos abounds and Husk and Angel Dust get pulled into the pandemonium.

“Out of curiosity is everyone I know secretly a trained killer?” Cale asks. ‘Of course not!’ Cale, apparently from the future, snaps back. ‘Maybe?’ the man named Kim Rok Soo hedges. “Huh.” Cale pauses to consider two sets of similar, yet diametrically opposed memories of his life. “And there’s going to be a war?” ‘I don’t remember being this dense as a child,’ Cale, the jerk, snarks. ‘Yes, war, the White Star, potentially the end of the world, other terrible shit. So wake up and do something about it!’ ‘He’s seven,’ Kim Rok Soo say disapprovingly. ‘This really isn’t something you should be putting on his shoulders.’ “I’m eleven,” Cale corrects for what feels like the hundredth time. He doesn’t know why the ghosts who have taken up residence in his head keep insisting he’s seven. He isn’t that small.

In which Lucifer tries to figure out what's happening with Alastor, goes through at least seven separate emotional upheavals and makes a plan.

In which Lucifer gets home a little later than he intended and immediately realizes that there is something off with Alastor.

In which Alastor and Angel try to have a conversation about sex and Alastor comes to the stark realization that he knows less than he thought he did about matters of physical intimacy.

In which Lucifer is dealing with some ancient issues and realizes that he is seriously out of practice when it comes to socializing.

In which Alastor tries to deal with the Vox shaped problem in his life and makes ten new problems for himself because penchant for self-destructive chaos wont let him leave well enough alone.

In which Alastor is bothered by his own rusty self-assessment skills and even more aggravated by a persistent 'bug' problem.
