Long ago, before the plumbers two, lived a man named Maulen. Maulen lived in what’s now known as DK Country, a continent named after Donkey Kong, a notable figure in history saving their greatest mayor, Pauline. Now, Maulen lived in a village next to the coast. Growing up, he realized he was way different than his friends. And by the time he was an adult, he was 200cm tall. One day, he got into a fight with another resident. Not realizing his strength, Maulen unintentionally killed the man he fought. The other residents weren’t happy of this, so they sent him off on a raft, going north. After 3 days of drifting off, he was met with Norshill. After washing onto the shore, a few people took him and encased him in an unmeltable crystal, and sent him off to the volcano, which was hidden by a glacier, nearby. While incased within, his power built. Over thousands of years, he could think about who did this. But then, around 2000 years into his imprisonment, he had a vision. it was of Darkleye, and his influence he brought upon the land. For years he thought about what this could mean, but suddenly, his encasing started to shatter. As Alagold’s group looked on, they heard all these things about his life, and suddenly… it broke. Maulen, now free, looked on at Alagold and his group. after talking, he couldn’t supress his need of fighting, and fought Alagold, Kelan, and Dalis. Toadette, Toad, and Bucken-Berry fled at the sight of him. Meanwhile, the three started to overpower maulen, until after a final stomp by Kelan, he collapsed. a few moments later, he rose up again. Thanking the three, he said they were pretty cool, and that he wanted to accompany them. Alagold accepted. Later on, Maulen would accompany Alagold and Kelan, …somewhere.
