it’s time is a grenade day! tiagayhitww is a canon compliant time loop heist story set over the course of one repeating day (april 29th!) sometime after 5x11 wherein ed is forced to face some truths he really, really doesn’t want to acknowledge. hijinks, smut, & emotional revelations ensue

I just really like the dock scene in 5x11 cause it really made ed decide what he wanted truly which was oswald but also it finally was a shift in their relationship for two seasons oswald was the one pinning and chasing and suffered for it both times the shot at the docks his betrayal for lee it was ed rejecting any kind of positive relationship between them after Isabella and then here we have oswald once again following his heart but it does not lead to ed but to gotham and it hurts ed whos become so use to being the only one it was devoted to and ed tries to keep himself between the city and oswald yo stop oswald from walking away from him hoping maybe there will be a glimer of the oswald that would have burned the city to the ground to keep him safe to choose him above everything but oswald doesnt i wish there was time to show what ed went through on those docks watching the one person who loved him choosing something over him but also have it be his fault yes they were friends but he knew how oswald felt and selfishly thought hed get to keep that love for himself without giving it back he could leave find out oswald died for some stupid irrational love for a city like he did for his love of ed and so now it was eds turn to chase and follow his heart what he really truly loved and sure he said the city but the entire series ed has made it clear he had no real attachment to this city but he does to its king it just wow it wasnt a long scene but it said alot
