Lugia. Watercolor pastel. 11x14 in. I've been in a big Pokémon mood lately (besides, ya know, the past 16 years). Lugia was my favorite legendary as a kid, and my very first all nighter was spent trying to catch it in Silver.

Shiny Umbreon. Watercolor on magnetic canvas board. This was my first time painting on canvas board in awhile, and a learning experience. I still love the colors, though!

A silly little painting that I made in 2018 and then forgot about until today.

Lost. Watercolor. 5x8 inches. Psittacosaurus doesn't get enough love compared to its more popular cousin, Triceratops. So I made it a fantasy traveler trying to read a sign of clam hieroglyphs.

Random art tip: if you need some fantasy-looking writing and don't have it in you to go full Tolkien and create one of your own, you can take inspiration from the shells of the saltwater clam Lioconcha hieroglyphica and it'll do in a pinch.
