does anyone else have this grudge against the reboot casts audition tapes
they feel so scripted and when i say this i want you to compare them to the other audition tapes. the newer tapes feel edited and like they already had camera crew following them everywhere as to the older tapes, these FEEL like theyāre ordinary teenagers that are just desperate for fame with these low quality ass auditions š idk maybe itās just me
some of these scripted audition tapes do feel like they were scripted BY the contestants themselves. for priya's it may be a problem, but the rest? it feels like they just filmed and scripted the auditions by themselves. julia's and chase's audition tapes are the ones that show it the most imo. the scripted audition tapes do feel reflective about the fact that technology has evolved to the point where people can make their own videos easily through social media (thus making the julia and chase point stronger). so i really don't have a problem with the reboot audition tapes for the most part.
itās probably just nostalgia getting to me i feel like the personality from the older tapes come in more natural but idk it could be that i genuinely just HATE the reboot š
