tlaotlon absolutely killed it last year so it’s fitting that the melbourne-based maximal techno wizard has delivered yet another stellar release under his own new imprint, back home to raise mischief on a more local level perhaps

the noxious, high-res noise and batshit geometry of tlaotlon’s music and the duality that the artist’s own visual accompaniment explore a duality between digital spaces that is often brought up in contemporary experimental, musique-concrete or techno music, but none quite nail the extremity and xenophonic style that tlaotlon has made all his own

this is surprisingly not as difficult a listen as it may initially appear to be, slyly falling somewhere between slapping you in the face repeatedly with its unrelenting insanity and whisking you away into a deliriously fantastic world of technoid schizophrenia
