“Uh, Nail polish,” Amy replied. “And I can do it. You’re not the only skilled spell-caster in the cabin.”

“Yeah, but I feel like I just scream Mint Chocolate Chip is my favorite ice cream flavor.”

“I’ll be honest, I was hoping you’d give me a pass, but I guess my new job here will be looking out for the cops.” 

“What would you do if I didn’t? Would you call the cops?” 

“Mint chocolate chip, it’s like you don’t even know me.”

“Okay, so don’t be mad, but I may or may how have spilled something on your bed, and I’ll totally clean it up, if I knew where the spell was to get stains out, because it’ll totally stain.” ( @juniperlivingstcne​ )

“I hate to break it to you, but if that’s the case I don’t think I can give you anymore compliments. It would be too big of a risk.” 

“Well normally I’d love to, but you know, I don’t really feel like giving you a compliment on something that was meant to be mine. Any other outfit is fair game for a compliment in my eyes.” 

“I’ve got a tub of ice cream and two spoons, you in?”

“No coffee in the morning?” Vienna echoed, looking to the redhead. “Did that person just say they don’t drink coffee? Don’t tell me you don’t drink coffee either.”

“That’s fair enough.” Alex replied, nodding her head slightly, “Now tell me, what should I be looking out for? I don’t want to give you a compliment on the wrong outfit and waste my kindness on the wrong thing.” 

“What a shame. You kept the receipt, didn’t you? Sales associates aren’t as nice as I am.” 

“Oh, no, I’m not offended. You’re just not invited to my birthday party anymore. It’s fine.” 

“That’s a bit rude, here I thought we were friends and everything.” 

chris’ eyes flick back and forth between juniper and her bow for a moment. it’s not so dark that the other shouldn’t be able to see it, the moon and stars providing some light. “training,” she replies after a beat. “i know i’m good, but,” a small shrug, “always room for improvement.”
