Similarly to the frenzies, a bolt of energy feom the rift is the cause of the swap occurring between wardens and nobles, and in this case i imagine the main reason for this is to hinder travel via the nobles plus the general chaos of a sudden body change may cause.

Surprisingly, both Lady sneasler and Warden Ingo manage to stay level headed and maintain calm during all this. So it's really funny that Melli ends up finding them and does not keep a calm mind. AT ALL.

I mean, it is understandable since WHY is there a random pearl clan member (who he has never seen before despite having a really odd hairstyle? Weird.) with a sickly looking sneasler and Wardens Ingo coat and hat, which he NEVER seems to take off, in the area where the bolt struck? Mighty suspicious.

However once everythings settled he seems to get back to his usual self

It doesn't take very long to realize that Lady sneasler and Ingo weren't the only ones afflicted with this curse, and worse yet, they seemed to be better off ones in comparison to other wardens/nobles.... but I'll prolly make a separate post for that ✌️
