Dylan got a haircut! He is 5 years and 9 months old.

I recently got Dylan a kids' origami animals kit. Today he made his own origami animals. I like this blue bird. Just one fold.

Making some interesting shapes.

Dylan participated in a "Dino Dig" activity at the municipal center last Friday. This was right after Playtime Pals and Garrett was ready for a nap. After some fussing, he fell asleep - luckily! I had to help Dylan with most of the activities. He made a craft and played with playdough. There were a few other activities before he got his turn to break a dinosaur toy out of an ice "egg" and make a "fossil". Dylan loves playing with Playdough and Model Magic.

Pumpkin farm. Dylan was about to pull up his hood because it was a little chilly that morning (last Friday).

Picture Dylan drew of baby Garrett (almost 8 months old) yesterday. Garrett was wearing an outfit with crab shapes on it. Garrett has 2 bottom teeth. He has a toy Oball (ball with holes in it) that has linking rings connected to it. And he has rubbery toy blocks. Dylan is 5 and almost 2 months, so this drawing seems pretty good to me. He mostly draws people as stick figures with oval bodies.

At Moraine State Park for a picnic and raspberry-picking hike. A little too cool to swim, so Dylan played in the sand at the beach for a while. He collected wildflowers on the hike, then he drew them and we had to match the flowers to the drawings. Garrett fell asleep on the hike. He sat and rolled on a blanket by our picnic table. We got a nice location by the lake. We arrived at 10:30am. It started filling up more around 11:30.

Dylan drew this before I got up this morning. He said the owl was "a lot of work." He based it on his toy owl. This scene is a Look-and-Find - find the 5 mice.

"The watermelon is juggling seeds from himself." lol. Similar theme for the purple grapes and yellow corn. He was adding a tomato juggling tomato tops when I took this.

Outside the Children's Museum this week. One of the nicest smiles I've captured in a while. He doesn't cooperate when posing for photos.

Dylan made a play area for Garrett today

Easter 2016. The boys each got a book, a stuffed animal, a bath toy, and a chocolate covered Peep. Dylan also got a chocolate bunny and a kit to paint his own solar system mobile.  Dylan also got to hunt for eggs solo, so he got the whole haul to himself.  Beautiful weather today, so Garrett got to take a 2-hour nap outside and Dylan used the trampoline a few times throughout the day.

Dylan was able to decorate his eggs by himself this year. I just provided the supplies and helped pry the backs off the googly eyes.
