BIO

For most people, Julien is known as someone who always shows up when he is needed, who quietly takes care of the people around him, and who never asks for anything in return. However, beneath that reputation is a weight he has carried for years and a heavy darkness that is obvious if you look just below the surface.

When Julien was only 15 he learnt to drive and he was so very excited in a way that all teenagers are to have their first taste of freedom. He was taking his younger brother Charlie out of a drive when there was a terrible accident that took the life of his younger brother. Whether or not others see it as his fault, Julien has never been able to fully forgive himself for being at the wheel when it happened. The guilt changed him, leaving him with a deep fear of failing the people he loves and a belief that he has to protect everyone around him because he couldn't protect his brother.

After the accident, Julien turned to boxing and working as physical therapy to recover from the accident but also as a way to handle the anger, grief, and frustration he couldn't put into words. What began as an outlet for emotions became a source of purpose, leading him into a career as a personal trainer.

And then at the age of 17 Julien's mother committed suicide, unable to handle the passing of her youngest son any longer. Not only that but his father turned to drink, leaving him pretty much completely alone.
