All of us at Reprise & Warner Records are truly saddened by the loss of Elliot Roberts, and our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. To say that Elliot lived every day to the fullest would not do him justice, as no one man and artist manager had more of a lasting influence on the LA music scene as Elliot. His brilliance, tenacity, humor, and guidance with such noted artists as Joni Mitchell, and to this day, 50 years later, with Neil Young, helped establish his legendary status and unwavering loyalty. Elliot was in our offices recently still fighting the good fight on behalf of Neil. And even though he was tough, his kindness, humor, generosity, and humility always shined through. We’ll miss everything about this great man, and in this company and beyond, Elliot’s spirit will live on forever.
