Will Byers and Mike Wheeler from Stranger Things are gay!

Even though our openly gay character who's been abused, tortured and traumatized basically since before the show began is the only main character not to have a reciprocated love interest. And no, Mike's implied Y/N self-insert doesn't count.

But hey, we've got a lesbian couple! Quick, let's have the sapphic couple get together off-screen, use them only to build up the gay couple that was never really in the cards, and then let's imply that the sapphic couple breaks up off-screen, too. Remember, high school couples often break up after high school is over. Representation!

But wait, we need to kill off some characters! Hm, we don't want to kill any of our main characters, so let's just kill one of the few poc characters we have? Yes, bringing back the abused and traumatized female poc character that's needlessly overhated by a majority of the fandom already, only to do her dirty once again sounds great! Let's have her act super suspicious so that the fandom hates her even more for no apparent reason!

And remember, if you want to end the cycle of abuse, you have to kill yourself!
