Lexi hurried through the rest of the show before running back to the locker room and changing into fresh clothes. She said a hurried goodbye to her coworkers that were starting to trickle into the locker room before hurrying towards the talent parking lot. The blonde gave a courteous wave to the fans who were already outside before getting in her car and heading toward the hotel. She reached the building about ten minutes later, firing off a text to Chris once she was in the elevator.

[text: Chris || sent]: Room 1132 <3 See you in a few minutes.

     A handful of weeks had gone by and her career had changed its path. No longer was she the Smackdown Live Women’s Champion – and instead of staying in the title picture – the small blonde was pushed to the back burner. But that was only temporary, while others were allowed their time to shine and she didn’t have a problem with that. Besides, one of her favorite things was to work with others that didn’t really have a current direction. She’d pitched the idea to partner up with Ellsworth before and it worked out amazingly. Now, her idea of partnering up with R-Truth was headed in the right direction. The fans loved it and her merchandise sales were still at an all time high. With or without the championship, Leah was pleased. At the moment, the young blonde was looking down at her phone, scrolling through her playlist and setting up something to listen to while she got herself ready for the night. The makeup team was as busy as ever, and with her chair slightly off to the side, she didn’t think much about not being tended to in a swift manner. Besides, contrary to her on screen character – Leah wasn’t about to snap her fingers and act like a total diva.       When a roughly padded pair of hands came down over her eyes, she gasped and nearly dropped her phone. She felt her heart starting to race a little bit – blinking in the darkness of the inside of this strangers hands, struggling to try and recognize the sound of the voice she heard but not able to place it anywhere. “Umm …” she whispered softly, before feeling breath on the outside of her ear … and the sweet, deep tone of someone she knew extremely well … someone that sent shivers through her entire body. “Chris …” she smiled tenderly as she spoke his name, moving her hands up, softly stroking her fingers against the back of his hands, trying not to draw attention or make anyone too suspicious. She was just dying to touch him. “When’d you get here? How long are you in town for?” the questions poured out of her mouth as she turned to look over her shoulder – hoping that he wasn’t just passing through. 

               Chris might not have cared about people knowing about his affair with Leah but that doesn’t mean he was going to make it obvious that there was something going on between the two of them. He had no reason to be at all ashamed that he was still able to convince a younger woman into his bed with him. In fact, some men might have applauded him for having some game at his age. Chris was selfish but he wasn’t going to around slapping Leah on the ass or kissing her in public when he wasn’t so sure she was okay with that. There was nothing wrong with being friendly and having fun with people. No one would suspect anything more than them being friends.

(SMS) Hey, princess. You on your way to the car yet?

               “Are you KIDDING me?” Chris questioned Jeff the moment he saw him backstage. “Weren’t you supposed to leave all these dangerous stunts back in 2002 or something?” Of course, he was concerned about his health. He was worried like everyone else. Not that Chris was against doing things that wowed the fans and got them to sit on the edge of their seats but... in his opinion, there was a difference between that and bellyflopping the ring from the top of the cell while also putting yourself through a table.  The male took a deep breath and scanned over Jeff and he seemed okay. At least as okay when you were Jeff Hardy. His arm wasn’t bent backward and he was able to walk on his own two feet. That was a positive sign at least. “Are you okay? I can tell your brain is far from okay for wanting to do something like that but are YOU okay?”

Lexi nodded her head, smiling when they parted. “Will do. I only have a few things to finish up with around here….and then I can go back to the room and get into something a little more comfortable.” She smirked before hopping down from her spot on the road case. “Try not to miss me too much,” the Ohioan winked, blowing a kiss Chris’ way before heading down the hall, putting a little extra switch in her hips to keep his gaze on her.
