This week on the blog we've got a DIY for the entire familia. It's our take on a sidewalk board game. All you need is chalk, dice, colored note cards, rocks, and a marker... not to mention a few willing players (recruit all the kiddos for this one). Check out the link in our bio and have fun!!

Multimodal transportation exploration in our city today with @metrohouston. It's the Rail & Ride Scapade, which has taken us from downtown Houston to the Museum District via bike and light rail. Great day to be out and about!

This mural titled "Ánimo Sin Fronteras" by artist Miles “Mac” MacGregor in El Paso, Texas is pretty spectacular. His story behind it, pretty powerful: "All aerosol and fatcapsIt's based on photos I shot in 2012 of a man named Melchor Flores, who's been fighting to get answers and justice for his son who was picked up and disappeared by police in Nuevo León in 2009. This mural is located in the heart of downtown El Paso, and complements the fighting spirit of the classic boxing mural next to it. This is an important mural for me, something I've been trying to make happen for a while. It is for all those who fight for justice."

Spent the day yesterday admiring the beauty of Mother Nature and the natural wonder that is the Grand Canyon National Park, and while doing so, couldn't help but to think about all the sacrifices our parents made, all the hard work they have put in, all the aspirations they had for us, that have allowed us to be right here right now, feeling the same hopes, dreams, and aspirations they had for us, for the next generation of chiquillos coming up behind us trying to figure out their place in this world and this country. #chillsdeagradecimiento (at Grand Canyon National Park)
