After an exhausting late night drive from Yosemite back to Sunnyvale, I slept in my car for the few hours that I could. I spent most of the next day hanging out at one of Tyler’s favorite coffee shops, nestled amongst the big tech companies. Pretty funny coincidence that I saw this beautiful Mercedes 300 SD (W126) in the parking garage and took a picture of it, and then months later, back in Richmond, ended up buying essentially the exact same car and fixing it up with a couple of friends. I’ve actually been working on it all week - we’re almost done!Â
That night I met up with Tyler again and we ate at this incredible Korean restaurant and drove around Sunnyvale, Palo Alto (where my parents met), and San Jose. We checked out the local McLaren dealership (because of course there’s a McLaren dealer in Silicon Valley). I slept in my car again that night before heading back to the foothills and then north the next morning.Â
