jessica nodded eagerly in reply. “ yes please, coffee is my first love and i can’t function without it. ” her voice came out a little groggy with her lack of awake-ness. “ do you have the time as well? ”

“ i don’t know about you, but i don’t do well with mornings. ” the spider sighed, stomping into the kitchen with her duvet around her shoulders. “ you after some coffee as well? ”

“ i thought i’d find you here. ” jess smiled, stepping into the quiet room. “ just thought i’d come and say hi, i haven’t seen you since the sinister lot paid us a visit.”

“ oh, something smells good in here. ” jessica hummed, following the smell of food into the kitchen. “ are you cooking something or did i just miss whoever was? ” she asked, leaning against the door frame.

guess who’s back, back again, paige jess is back, tell a friend. holy shit, what a wild trip, my laptop literally denied the new mac update but i somehow managed to get it to take eventually. i was honestly stressing over that fact that i might have have to give up jess and it made me want to cry. but never the less, i’m  back !! now i just have to redownload some lily gifs and everything will be back in order. so hi friends !!

with superhuman hearing, jess could hear gamora as she spoke. “ that bastard. ” the female swore under her breath. the doctor must have made some modifications before traveling to this decade. jessica dodged the falling debris and continued to shot at the villain. 

“ wanna swap? i’m getting a little sick of old man doc over there. ” jessica sighed, glancing over her shoulder at the eight-legged scientists. “ i’ve got a plan in mind for your guy... ”

“ i’m sure there’s still some of us left in twenty-seventeen, but still, without spider-man it must be slightly lonely. ” jessica agreed, sighing shortly after. “ honestly, i wouldn’t make all this effort for one enemy. ” 

jess looked at the female in pink, sympathizing with her for a second. “ you can shoot, i promise. ” she nodded in hope that her words would calm the other down. “ we just need to be smart about it, there’s no point in wasting bullets. ”

a mental note was made that the god of thunder was on her team. as he spoke, jessica shot her fair share to venom blasts at the villain, to keep him at bay while members of the public run to safety. “ do you see where the legs connect? that’s a weak point, i’m sure. oh, and the eyes... if we could blind him for a moment we’ll have a chance to throw some major damage. ”

“ kinda... sorta not. ” jessica stumbled over her words.  “ a different me in a different universe has. plus, spider-man is a close friend so i know a bit about this guy. ” the spider shot a few venom blasts as a distraction, while she spoke to her teammate. “ that could work, anything is worth a try at this point. ”

“ they found a way to time-travel back to 1973, just to get at spider-man. it wouldn’t surprise me if they did know our every move. ” jessica spoke with a raised voice, looking up at the villain in front of them. she watched as his stomped one of the mechanical legs into the ground, crushing the concrete beneath it. “ follow me! ” she called out, leaping onto the leg and climbing it.
