Whether it's still #ThrowbackThursday or is now #FlashbackFriday in your time zone, #TBT to every #BOTB I've ever had the opportunity to experience - from supporting #LaneTech #KapamilyaHabangBuhay #KHB as they showed the Midwest that High School is not a factor when dancing Bangko in 2010, to our competition-worthy piece, Takiling, taught by Ateh May and Alzen in 2011 & performing the National Anthem with Keith, Kevin, and Magellan as FIA'capella when it first started, to expanding to FIA'liwan for another anthem and dancing for Jason and Jessica's creative cardio-inducing dance of Binatbataan in 2012, to the committee effort of planning Battle as VPE in and taking part in Caliso and Gian's vision of one of the largest productions in the festival dance of Ati-Atihan in 2013, to getting out of my comfort zone and taking on a bigger role as Prince in Joseph and Steph's interpretation of King Indarapatra and Prince Sulayman in 2014, all the way to last year, 2015, where, as an alum, I was invited back to judge alongside Alzen and Caliso! It's been a wild ride, but every year has been unbelievable, unforgettable, unique, and unifying experience that I hold very close to my heart. You can bet you'll see me there again this year. 'Twas a wild weekend of celebrating! First off, congrats to my Captain/Line Bro Julius "Cloud" Nocup on graduating and securing that full time job right out of college! You've always had the most studious and disciplined work ethics when it came to academics in my opinion and you've hardly been one to complain much about any school work hardships, you'd just get it done. That's always been admirable and your smart work has paid off! We were glad to celebrate your graduation on the same day that we crossed - 4 years ago!!! Happy #DELTAVERSARY, line!Truly appreciate the fact that we see each other as often as we do and have been experiencing these transitions in our lives together. From Sunday's celebration of my Mom's 60th birthday and Dad's 66th birthday. As a child born with so many medical problems, varying emotions, and a rebellious period in my life, I'm so grateful and blessed to have you in my life for another year, another month, another week, another day, hour, second, etc... Regardless of my decisions to live in an apartment the past few years and overload myself with involvement, just know that I think about you two everyday and every decision I have made these past few years have all been working towards something - becoming a better person on my own so that one day, I'll be able to give back and repay you both in full, with interest. I just want to be able to do it my way. I am who I am because of the way you raised me, and for that, I cannot thank you enough. I love you both so much and I hope I will continue to make you proud!
