Special GarbageGuy post: Today is World AIDS Day. As an openly proud HIV positive person, I can say that I have thrived in the face of this disease. But not everyone is so lucky. There are still far too many new diagnoses and far too many people dying worldwide. It’s easy to not think about this stuff in our day-to-day lives. However forgetting about it won’t help us fight it. So please, sometime today, take a moment to not “not think” about HIV and AIDS.
