Hello! My name is Joy. I am a writer that creates fiction about queer women. I am in need of a Black and/or Latina artist to hire and work with me on my current novel.

Ideally, I need six full-body depictions in total--of six different queer women.

I am looking for realistic proportions, though the illustration style does not need to be realistic as a whole and can be stylized

An artist of color is preferred. Five of the six women are ethnically diverse and I am looking for authenticity in physical features and hair. I need authentic depictions of Black and Latina hairstyles and physical features.

If you vibe with my characters and enjoy illustrating them, I am open to working with you more in the future (illustrations of certain scenes, the front cover of the book, etc.).

Though I do not currently have any finalized path to commercialization, it is a goal of mine to publish the work. If this impacts your decision to work with me, or changes the pricing structure, let me know. I am open to working something out.

None of the six pieces I am requesting are NSFW in any way, however the characters depicted do have scenes of sexuality in the novel.
