Today’s rewrite idea is The Silent Mountain, and despite the war premise and the marriage between an Italian family and an Austrian family, this film is more bland than I thought. But never fear, because Jovi will give this story an improvement. Disclaimer: This rewrite is just for fun and for the sake of fixing the movie’s issues. All ideas are based on what the film should have been but will contain sensitive elements, so read at your own risk.

Eliminate Anderl’s narrating because it was confusing, similar to a dystopia film.

Have there been hints of cultural tension during Elisabeth and Angelo’s wedding, such as mentioning politics and family drama from both sides? These two newlyweds will also have more screentime because, of course, they should.

Fritz Weinberger will be more villainous than in canon, and aside from blackmailing Franchesca, he’s also been making a pass at Anderl’s sister Elizabeth as well. To him, Angelo might not return due to war, and he is hoping that he could finally marry his crush. However, after she gives birth to her firstborn child, Fritz intends to eliminate the infant but fails after a nurse gets the child out before the worst could be done. Will get his deserved demise at the end, especially when Lisl discovers what he did. 

Let Franchesca’s family realize she’s missing soon after they return home because it seems weird that they haven’t gotten screentime aside from the wedding and escape to Italy. In this version, we have them try to contact Anderl or Angelo to see if they know where their daughter is. They finally contact Anderl by phone around the same time he learns about the “affair” with Fritz, and they both give each other a recap on what’s been happening. I would also make this new scene the part where Anderl gets to know more about the Italians from a new perspective aside from Francesca’s. He doesn’t hate them, but he understands their concern for Franchesca’s safety and promises to bring her home.

More characters are going to be introduced into the film, and they are going to be Anderl and Angelo’s TBN best friends/fellow soldiers, civilians hiding in the mountains, workers at the hotel, and fellow relatives of both families who also join the fighting. Karl Gruber will also be part of the army with his son, so there will be tension between them. 

Angelo will find out about Fritz hurting his sister and wife, and let’s just say he won’t hold back on violence when he finally confronts him.

Franchesca will also have screentime with Elizabeth because they are now considered sisters through marriage who try to help each other through the conflict. Lisl also entrusts her with her TBN newborn baby in case something happens to her or her husband.

Today’s rewrite idea is the animated seriesRevisions, and while I enjoyed the concept and anime a few years ago, the story wasn't exactly sticking to me because of a few flaws! Luckily, I am willing to strap in and give Revisions the story it deserves.

The dialogue will be more realistic and have some serious moments, with some flashbacks containing themes of war, violence, child kidnapping, and manipulation. 

Daisuke will not have the extreme hero complex trope or be a social outcast. In this version, he is trying his best to be there for his friends and participates in the martial arts club to vent his frustration in a healthy way instead of bringing a knife to school. He has no recollection of the kidnapping and assumes Milo was just a random woman wearing a police officer costume for Halloween, so he shrugs it off as a mere memory.

Milo will not be the only member in the AHRV shown in the series and will have several TBN members, from a mechanic to hackers. They will help the main group get their character development and let them learn about revisions on their own.

Give Gai, Ru, Marimari, and Keisaku more moments because I do not appreciate the arguing bits. Instead, they are trying to keep living their lives to the fullest until the Shibuya rift put things on hold. Daisuke actually lets Gai be in charge of the group because he is more level-headed in scenarios.

In episodes 1 and 2, Daisuke will not know how to work the string puppet and mess up a few times like a newbie should.

Have revisions get more supporters, and their uniform will be USSR-inspired with black and emerald green uniforms. In this version, they are capturing people from Shibuya to destroy the past from within. To Rivisions, the past seems like a soft-hearted place that refuses to make its mark in the world. Chiharu and Mukyuu stand as the leaders.

Nicholas will be an anamatronic animal with the brain of the creator of Rivisions in this version, and his powers are full-on nightmare fuel if you mess with his plans.

Milo will not serve as an info dump for exposition and will see the group as the family she lost. She limits what she says to Shibuya inhabitants to avoid raising panic. However, there will be a point where Milo has to confess her role in the whole prophecy situation.

Keisaku will NOT die (my boy is too precious) when he sees his mom die and is later restrained and captured by Revisions, getting knocked out because he is causing too much noise. Keisaku is depressed in his cell, and guards believe he might end his own life if he is left alone, which ends up with him having a flipping meltdown once he knows that their arrival was planned. 

There is no time travel to the kidnapping incident because they already got sent to the future, but it will be from Milo’s perspective and shown in memory archives. The team searches the room when looking for Keisaku and finds out about the prophecy. Daisuke is shocked, Gai is visibly angry, Lu is horrified, and Marimari is holding back tears. 

Once finding out that the rift was staged from the beginning, everyone pretty much turns on AHRV and Milo, labeling them as meddlers of time and selfish beings. Once revisions are defeated, the system is forced to swear that if they interfere in the past again, the United Nations will get involved.

Nicholas, Chiharu and Mukyuu will all get different demises than in canon, and it’s going to be glorious in the final battle.

There will be a moment towards the end where the team is at their lowest point when they are unable to escape, with Daisuke saying that he wanted to prove that he wasn’t selfish or fulfilling a horrible prophecy. The crash-out is similar to what happens in Bojack Horseman’s Underground episode, but it’s Marimari who cheers him up and says that none of this was his fault. 

The story will get a sad but bittersweet ending. After Shibuya returns to its timeline and defeats Revisions, we are hit with a heartbreaking news… Keisaku has decided to stay behind with Milo! Now that he knows AHRV chose him for their plans since day one and Milo had intentionally selected the wrong kid against orders, Keisaku doesn’t want to put his friends and timeline at risk. Daisuke and co. are reluctant, but Chief Kanae supports his choice when this decision reminds her of Ryohei’s dedication to keep the citizens safe. The group tearfully say their goodbyes as Keisaku asks them to look out for each other, to which they all agree. Milo, Keisaku, and AHRV walk into a portal back to the future where they belong. We then cut to months later, where the remaining four friends are hanging out together, their bond stronger than ever.

Today’s rewrite idea is the anime series Platinum End, and while I enjoyed the angel concept, the story was downright terrible! From the unlikable characters to the premise, it had made me lose faith in reality and young audiences who are as vulnerable to content like 13 Reasons Why. Luckily for you all, I am willing to strap in and give Platinum End the story it deserves.

Make the story’s plot mostly be based on real issues and have a new premise. In this version, the Afterlife has been receiving reports of suicide rates increasing to the point where Hell is becoming crowded. Hoping to fix the crisis, God comes up with a plan to select 13 angels to help people in Japan work through their problems under human disguise. If any of them fail, they’ll be stripped of their title and get banished from heaven. Little do they know that one of the 13 is planning to overthrow the angels, resulting in the candidates getting involved.

The Angels will be given human disguises depending on their physical age in heaven. For example, Nasse and Revel are high school students, while the older-looking ones like Muni get to look like middle-aged job employees or any position if it means keeping an eye on their assigned person. Also, using red arrows and white arrows on humans is strictly against the rules.

Mirai Kakehashi gets a different backstory. In this version, he and his TBN little brother are taken in by their aunt and uncle (named Amaku and Shuji, respectively) after their parents died in the 2011 earthquake. The two are treated well, but Mirai was the one struggling to adapt to the new environment due to bullying. It got so bad that he refuses to socialize and spend his time at home. It isn’t until Nasse comes into his life that he finally gets the wake-up call he needs to face his problems. He is also able to defend his friends later on.

Saki and Mirai’s relationship is going to have a slight change because in this version, Saki did not bully him years ago. The two are mere acquaintances who rarely speak to each other because of their personal lives or family situations.

Give the series a main antagonist, and it’s Meyza, the special-ranked angel. She had climbed the ranks of authority alongside her brethren, but she only cared about one thing—control over humanity. With people making mistakes and causing wars, it’s no wonder why God is standing by and letting humanity get off scot-free. But after God proposed his plan to help 13 candidates with their problems, Meyza decided to use this opportunity to take down humanity by chosing Kanade Uryu due to their similar interests. Her discreet actions would eventually be exposed, and the other angels would banish her to hell. Trust me, it will be satisfying.

Shuji Nakaumi will not be a suicide glorifier! He is instead dealing with a drug-addicted parent and would often find capsules in random places that he believes are medicine. It isn’t until Ogaro chooses him as a candidate that the two form a family bond. At the end of the series, he is taken into custody by Nanato’s family. Shuji’s god form will be a separate angel who was created by Meyza and meant to serve as a spy against god but will turn against her when he finds earth unique despite its history.

The angel Luta choosing Tonma Rodriguez as his candidate was an accident. In this version, he believed Tonma had been suffering from a romantic issue and thought he could help him and get the task over with as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, after the “Metropolitan Limo Incident” went down, Luta was deeply ashamed of his actions. He believed Tonma was using the red arrow to do a speed dating idea, but hearing his own candidate say that he felt like a god really took the cake. He testified against his own candidate for abusing his power and didn’t bat an eye when Tonma was sent to hell. For the remainder of the series, he investigates the metropolitan guy and how he could obtain the white arrows.

Yuri Temari, Gaku Yoneda, Susumu Yuito, Chiyu Nakayama, Saburo Tabuchi, and Shogo Hatageyama will get more screentime because, of course, they should. 

The angels will have more screentime as well and reveal their lives before ending up in heaven.

Mirai’s aunt, Amaku, and her husband will not be jerks and will be less terrible than in canon. In my version, these two are brash and very opinionated, often bickering with each other about the most obvious things. Amaku and her TBN brother (Mirai’s dad) did not see eye to eye when the two were young, resulting in the siblings cutting all contact. She planned on apologizing, but the earthquake threw that idea down the drain and into raising her nephews. The family's relationship improves as the series goes on, even accepting Saki as a potential partner.

The ending will be a bittersweet one; with Meyza and Kanade defeated, things have gone back to normal. God has officially called the candidate plan a success and is intending to help other civilians around the world. As for the 13 candidates, they are improving their lives and seeking the help they need even after the angels have departed. 

Today’s movie rewrite/reboot is the silent film Fanton the Cricket based on the book “La Patite Fadette.". Of all the rewrites I’ve done, I have never seen anything like what Old Hollywood has created. And because I have nothing else to do on my plate, I’ll be challenging myself by rebooting this story.

Have the movie be made in 2D animation because with Hollywood in shambles, I do not believe a live-action movie would be a good idea.

Fadette’s little brother, whom I’ll be naming Marc, will be included and plays a supporting role in getting Landry and Fadette together. He’s also able to befriend Sylvanet when he is dealing with his depression and tries to cheer him up.

Landry and Sylvanet’s parents, named Leopold and Dorothee Barbeau in this version, run a wheat farming industry in the southern part of France. Because of their beliefs about raising their kids together, many rich families look down on them for being too soft. 

The alleged witch rumors about Fadette’s grandmother and her horrible reputation will be expanded upon. In this version, the grandmother—named Auriele—had been part of an herbal business back when the witch hunt was active and got detained after the mayor assumed she gave his wife a love potion. She thought she would be burned at the stake, but a TBD peddler boy bailed Auriele out. The two were forced to leave town and chose to live in the woods, eventually falling in love and starting a family. After her husband died, Aurielle never got over her grief and became a stubborn and horrible woman like in the silent film. As for the villagers, they still hold onto the rumor and believe her grandkids are witches, like in canon.

Fadette leaving town goes slightly different, with the real reason being her grandmother needing medical treatment and the engagement scandal adding more stress on her and her brother. The siblings move to the city in order to find stable jobs, however, the grandmother passes away and leaves the kids a large sum of money.

Sylvinet will have more screentime and aside from his crush on Fadette weakening after seeing her in love with his brother, he is struggling to figure out who he is. He will tell his brother the truth before he leaves for the military and it will be heartbreaking.

The ending will be a happy one, while Fadette and Landrete marry with the villagers supporting them (the witch rumor has been cleared), Sylvinet has found love once again with a nurse during his time in the military, and he intends to court her.

For this anime AU, I’ve decided to take a break from fairytales and try a new genre to spice up the channel. I have chosen Jujutsu Kaisen meets Transformers One to start us off on the sci-fi adventure. These two stories stood out among many, and with my imagination running wild on how I want this parody to go down, this post won’t be a failure.

- For this universe, Jujutsu sorcerers are being ruled by Sukuna, the only master 'sorcerer' in Tokyo, and in order to maintain peace, tasks new sorcerers and humans to mine/dig up cursed objects to make sure they don’t fall into the wrong hands. That ends up being a lie, and he is intending to turn into his monstrous form so Sukuna’s enemies won’t take him down.

- Gojo and Geto will still be their teenage selves, but the revelation causes their friendship to strain to the point where it eventually crumbles.

- Kokun and Bayer as Soundwave and Shockwave work oddly well for some reason. And these cursed spirits led by Mahito have been in hiding because aside from watching the master sorcerers fall, Sukuna has been keeping their food supply for himself, and it has resulted in them making deals with other sorcerers who hate the system as they do.

- Because both 2006 and 2018 timelines will be merged together, Nobara and Yuji are a good fit as Alita-1 and B-127. Nobara is good at following the rules and getting things done, whereas Yuji has his energetic and outgoing traits that make him a good character. The reason he was sent to the garbage incineration unit is because Sukuna thought Yuji might ruin his plans after he accidentally ate one of the cursed fingers during his shift a few years before.

- The “I’m Done Saving You” scene will be slightly different with Yuji and Nobara helping Gojo fight his ex-friend. Trust me, this universe won’t stray from violence.

Today’s movie rewrite is Disney’s Secret Society of Second Born Royals. I watched this film many years ago, and despite myself enjoying it back then, it lacks a lot of originality or good storytelling. But, do not worry; Jovi here will make sure this rewrite is worthy of the company’s name.

Give the movie an alternate opening/prologue: 500 years ago in a fictional TBN world, there was once a king who taxed the people heavily, spending his days in luxury. However, his younger brother grew concerned about this crisis and discovered what his brother had been doing. Before long, a revolution broke out among the peasantry. Seeking aid, he sought the help of an old wizard who granted him magic beyond prowess to help protect the kingdom from threats behind the scenes and as a voice for the peasantry to avoid conflict. The brothers agreed to these terms and agreed that the next generation would maintain peace between sides; however, the balance continues to wane as many royals intend to break the balance. We then cut to centuries later when we are shown invites being mailed to other kingdoms and nobility, revealing Illyria is hosting Princess Eleanor’s coronation in a few months. But a looming threat intends to crash the event.

Have these people know the society exists, but keep it low-key because there is always a chance the location will be known by anti-royalists who want to hurt them.

Samantha will be a little more regal and opinionated in this version, but in a way that doesn’t offend anyone or make her self-centered. She has her own hobbies, such as being part of journalism and music theory at school, but wants to do it for a good cause. Sam is aware of the protests outside and is looking for a way to create new ideas, yet some end up in vain.

The other members of the society will be giving an introduction, and their kingdoms will be revealed. January is from Runid (inspired by England), Matteo is from Auduven (inspired by Denmark or the Netherlands), Tuma is from Kreovohan (inspired by Etheopia), and Roxanna is from Leotus (inspired by Greece). Also, there will be other young royals that are not second-born because should anything bad happen to the kingdom’s heir and spare, the younger siblings need to step up during said crisis.

Have there be more teachers because Professor Morrow and Princess Anna can’t be the only ones training the main squad. 

The characters will get more development and come to terms with working together.

Catherine gets more screentime, like she should, and it’s been revealed that she and Edmond used to be in the same class during an era where abdications and politics have been mainstream. Her marriage to King Robert helped Catherine clear the air and focus on starting a relationship, but after her husband’s accident, she had to acknowledge the current issues and make sure her daughters are safe and prepared for the future.

Inmate 34/Prince Edmond’s backstory will be further covered, and aside from trying to kill his brother via plane accident to destroy the monarchy, he is also one of many who supported revolutions in other nations if it means the inhabitants can choose for themselves. Some of the society’s TBD faculty have known about his ideas spreading, and while many agree that Edmond was trying to improve the world and make a difference, others believe he was going to take down more rulers next and incite violence. Edmond's actions are morally gray, but killing his own brother resulted in his imprisonment.

Mike will still be in this and will be getting a bigger role. In this version, he has a crush on Sam, with the movie’s events making him assume she had to deal with the coronation. After learning the truth, he is recruited into the society because of his knack for technology and lock picking.

January will not be the twist villain because it wasn’t set up at all in the movie. Instead, have her get an interest in Edward’s beliefs during history class, but she learns quickly that many revolutions end with no peaceful resolve.

Eleanor and Sam’s relationship is expanded upon, and it’s revealed that Eleanor isn’t so sure about ruling the kingdom and is very nervous before the coronation. The duo have a heart-to-heart about what’s been going on, and Sam promises to support her sister no matter what. 

An epic fight scene between Catharine and Edward will happen because this regent hasn't been given the potential she deserved in the original.

Today’s movie rewrite is Huntsman: Winter's War. I was a fan of the first film with its spin on Snow White’s tale long before Disney did their version terribly, but its sequel has many flaws and wasn’t even about a war to begin with. I will be fixing this movie to make sure it’s a worthy sequel.

Have the movie get an alternate opening: Many years before the start of the first movie, Ravenna and Freya (a childhood friend in this version) have been dreaming of becoming powerful witches to protect their families, with the mirror being one of many powerful artifacts any magic user yearns for. The girls and Finn get captured in a village raid and sold off to separate people. An animated montage is shown about how they suffered and rose to power: Ravenna gets sold to an old, TBN-lustful king with Finn as servants, but she is used as a toy for pleasure, and that is the main reason she hates men. The king discovered her awakening powers and gave the siblings the boot when they were in their twenties. Both of them used their talents to their personal advantage, leading to the events of the first film. As for Freya, she gets romantically involved with Andrew, but he leaves her at the altar, resulting in the wedding ceremony becoming an icy chaos. She flees to a TBN kingless winter kingdom and does the same thing in canon—takes children to create an army.

Snow White and the remaining Seven Dwarves (Nion will join Eric) will be in the film because, of course, she should be, but playing a supporting role and trying to make negotiations with the Snow Queen, which fail miserably. 

Freya is at first portrayed as a heartless queen and antagonist who hates love, but deep down, she wants to find something to fill the void in her heart. Her original goal is to get the magic mirror to help her conquer kingdoms like Ravenna took over Tabor years ago. Before long, that idea falters as she accidentally resurrects her friend from the dead and realizes how dangerous the mirror is. She is still dealing with Andrew leaving her at the altar and swore to never be in a relationship again, for now.

Erik and Sara still fall in love and reunite as in canon, but they also work together to get the mirror back from Freya if it means preventing a war. Those who join them are Nion, Gryff, Bromwyn, and Doreena.

Give Freya a romantic love interest, and it’s an OC named Kielo, a spring witch formerly affiliated with the infamous Summer Witch until her mentor was killed by an angry mob. After her mentor died, Kielo swore she would never go down the same path as the old witch and took a job in Tabor as a medicine producer. Joins Eric and his crew to find the mirror at first but is kidnapped and sent to the Winter Kingdom as a hostage, later falling in love with Freya.

Tull, Pippa, and Liefr will be getting slightly bigger roles while also questioning Freya’s authority when they discover her illusion she pulled on their former allies. The trio will also have a mental breakdown when Freya’s actions to kill children scare them and their fearless facade starts to crack alongside the other huntsmen.

Have the battle be set in the climax rather than the end, with both Tamor and the winter kingdom preparing for war. There will be an epic fighting scene between Eric and his former huntsman team, so prepare for some drama.

Like in the canon, Ravenna is resurrected but looks slightly old, with her abilities having been stripped away from her in the previous film. Snow White, William, and the Tamor army are traumatized seeing the previous queen and are caught off guard. Freya tries to reconnect with her old friend, but she is more distant than before.

Ravenna does not cause Andrew to kill Freya’s newborn but is instead planning to conquer all kingdoms with the mirror and is intending to kill her friend so she won't get in the way of her rule. Freya learns about it the same way but secretly uses the illusion spell to project the scene on the ice wall.

The ending will go like this: Freya gets wounded by Ravenna, who dies after the mirror is destroyed, but she tearfully apologizes for everything she did to them in the past and says the huntsmen are free. Instead of dying, Kiello and the White Heart (in bird form, making sure Snow White is safe) heal Freya's wounds, and she is embraced by the group. The soldiers on both sides cheer that the war has been prevented.

For this Anime Fairytale AU, I’ve chosen Tokyo Revengers meets Robin Hood 1973. I had thought about this post for a while and thought a gang steeling from the rich and giving to the poor would be an excellent idea.

- Kazutora would make an excellent Prince John because he would scheme his way into power, just like how he killed Mikey’s older brother in the anime.

- Takemichi being Alan-a-Dale and the narrator suits his role as a time jumper in cannon, but he still helps the gang without spoiling anything.

- Hinata and Mikey will not be a couple, but they were friends since childhood and have eachother’s back. She even talkies sense into him when his pride gets the better of him.

Today’s movie rewrite is Disney’s live-action Mulan (2020). The story flopped hard and didn’t stay true to the original, so I will be rewriting it as best I can. So, let’s dive in!

Mulan will not be a Mary Sue character with unstoppable powers and will be her cartoon self. End of story!

The slogan "Loyal, Brave, and True" will be replaced with Mushu's advice: “Just try your best in training, but also be yourself."

Cricket, Mushu, Shang, and Mulan’s grandmother are in this because, of course, they should.

The Fa family ancestors will appear, but they bicker about whether or not it’s wise to send a spirit animal into a battlefield and interfere with a conflict. The leader decides to send Mushu under a human disguise as Mulan’s distant cousin, which nods to the 1964 film, Lady General Hua Mu Lan. He’s still his cartoon self but becomes less selfish to protect his friends towards the end.

Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po will be brought back, and before you even ask, one of them will find out their friend ‘Ping’ is a woman earlier than expected (haven’t decided who). Luckily, they help keep her secret and admit to the others that they knew at the palace when the remaining men and Mulan talk things out.

Shang will be the love interest but has been doing his best to live up to his dad’s expectations. Mulan encourages him to explore the suffocating nature of being a soldier. The two make up when they come up with a plan to save the emperor.

Bori Khan will be replaced by Shan Yu, and he will be a more dangerous villain. Aside from killing Shang’s dad and murdering hundreds, he is willing to get what he wants through threats and violence. He will be eliminated by fireworks, just like in the original film.

Xianniang and the Phoenix will be removed from the film entirely.

Reflection, I’ll Make a Man Out of You, and A Girl Worth Fighting For will be in this as well because these songs are iconic!

Ensure the locations are set in China, making sure they are relevant and accurate to the story.

- In this universe, the attack occurred before Litch met Tetia, allowing the Witch Queen to curse him before he could harm innocent people, including Secre and Lemiel, who were accidentally caught in the spell.

- Solid fits Gaston’s role because he was a jerk for most of the series alongside Nebra. As for the Bimbette ladies, they tolerate him, but they want to beat him senseless because of his attitude.

- Litch, until he meets Tetia, is mostly depressed after losing most of his brethren and remaining a beast forever.

- Tetia is raised by Julius in this version and has the same beliefs Lemiel does about Elves coexisting. Unfortunately, the villagers aren’t that accepting until the end.

- How I want Solid to be defeated will be similar to the original, but he falls in the river when the Witch Queen appears to tie him and his sister. All cursed inhabitants get turned back and reunited with loved ones, with Lemiel doing a group hug now that everyone is okay.

Greetings! Today, I’ve decided to mix it up a little bit and do my take on the canceled Disney film, Calling All Robots. While we are all familiar with the Pacific Rim franchise and its robotic fight scenes, I became so enamored with the Kaiju concept that I felt compelled to explore it. So, let’s get into it!

Disclaimer: This rewrite is just for fun and for the sake of fixing the story’s issues. All ideas are based off of what I believe the movie should have been.

The movie will be in 2D animation with the aesthetic of The Iron Giant because it works well, but it won’t stray away from gore and violence.

Ray's home life is further explored, and aside from his dad Antoine being killed, his mom, named Maisy in this version, is struggling to keep the family afloat by taking on long-term jobs. Her children are mostly on their own watching cartoons, so their relationship is a little strained. Maisy doesn’t want her son to seek revenge against monsters due to the danger of those missions but knows Yuriko might be a positive influence to change her son’s dream.

The official story of how the conflict began happened like this: In 1958, a mysterious monster attacked the Chicago military factory, resulting in the loss of 2,000 lives. Before long, more mysterious Kaiju-like creatures start appearing in other parts of the world, which prompted many countries to be part of another all-out war. One man, General Parker, steps up to defeat the creature and is hailed as a savior, creating the robot program to defeat the megag creatures from that day on.

Have General Parker be the main antagonist, and aside from the monster attacks being a manipulation scheme and setting the story in motion, he is responsible for executing numerous people when they discover his plans. Parker and his flunkies accuse most of sabotage, while others have gone into hiding. 

Ray’s paternal grandfather will have an expanded backstory. In this version his name is Manuel Eliott, a former military engineer who made giant robots for the program. Unlike his son and peers, he wasn’t convinced the megacreatures were merciless creatures out for blood but instead mutated animals who were forced from their homes. He feels internalized guilt but pushes through in the hopes Ray and his grandkids get the guidance they need. 

Yuriko gets a prominent role in the story alongside Ray, and aside from being the first one to expose the truth, she serves as Ray's love interest.

There will also be other misfits to help expose the truth, such as… 

Karo Ochsner, a German ex-soldier in her early twenties who is part of the same engineer group as Manuel. Three years before the start of the film, Karo wrestled with a small, disfigured megacreature and lost her left forearm. Her boss found her too reckless after she got hospitalized, so she got transferred to robot building instead. She has a soft spot for animals and had noticed the tracker tag on "Twigstick," the same monster she fought and has her arm as a stuffed animal, so she alerts Manuel and her team about her discovery.

Yandel Collins, a skilled chemist, always had his head in the books to impress his longtime crush, Karo.

Ray's three TBN siblings, all from the ages of 7 to 13, respectively, usually spend their time with their friends until they sneak into the workshop and get caught up in the exposing plan, with their brother bribing them with old robot parts to use as toys.

Joe Patel is Maisy's new boyfriend and the eccentric babysitter for Ray and his siblings. Holds a part-time job at a fast food place and is afraid of heights. Deeple cares for the kids' safety when the adults aren't around and keeps conversations family-friendly.

Near the end, for the final battle, General Parker will resort to mutilating himself into a megacreature to defeat Ray, and his appearance will be a mix of King Kong and Godzilla cranked up to eleven. Trust me, the general will get what he deserves after the citizens see through his lies.

For this Anime Fairytale AU, I’ve chosen Vinland Saga meets The Lion King, as fate seemed to favor it repeatedly. Vinland Saga is one anime that I enjoyed watching and got through the entire series, so I have ideas for how I want the story to go down.

- Since Askeladd is Olaf’s illegitimate son and assumes he is meant to rule Britannia, for this AU he tries to take down all chief leaders or force them to surrender under his rule. Also, he killed King Sweyn in this universe too, so that counts for the parody. He is merciful enough to keep Canute alive as his slave, but that’s a story for another day.

- Gudrid’s family came to Thors’ homeland to escape Askelad’s territory expansion, so she and Thorfin were childhood friends.

- Thorkell is always switching sides, whether it’s fighting with the Danes or English, so he is with Aakeladd’s companion because it’s intriguing. 

- Ylva’s role is being in charge of handling the village when Thorfin disappears and her father dies. Believe me, she is no pushover when it comes to keeping things in order. 

- Thorfinn escapes. Askeladd was picked up by boat and taken to Ketil’s farm after his goons tried to kill him. Ketil’s family sides with Askeladd but needs new workers due to the shortage. Ketil assigns young Thorfinn to be in Einar and Bug-Eyes’ group, and the trio have a brotherly bond. The duo are the ones who pull Thorfinn out of the vengeance stupor during the final battle.

One thing that you probably don't know about me is that before I did rewrites and created stories, I imagined anime characters playing the roles of Disney characters.

This was stuck in my head for a while, and I wanted to see if this could be another topic I want to introduce.

- Since Douma runs a paradise cult and took in Gyutaro and Daki as kids, I consider him a good candidate to have Frollo's role. Also, he harassed women when he was a demon, including murdering Kotoha Hashibira, so that counts for the parody.

- Gyutaro won't develop feelings for Nezuko; he instead is reminded of Daki/Ume before she died of burn wounds and considers her family.

- Daki plays the role of Victor because she fits a serious yet supportive role as a gargoyle.

- Tanjiro is a member of the guard in order to provide for her sister and get off Douma's outcast hunt radar.

If you are a fan of Shakespeare adaptations, then you are going to enjoy my take on Scarlett 2025. As someone who read Hamlet in high school, this film didn’t do anything new aside from the typical Isekai in between the story we always remember. But fear not, I’m here to give this movie an interesting story it deserves.

The Otherworld premise will be excluded from the movie because it doesn’t work well for the plot.

Have the film have a similar opening, but on the night of the poisoning, King Claudius announces that his niece will be traveling to the Kingdom of Norway with her lady friends Rose and Gilda to help ease the feud between both kingdoms. Scarlett hates that idea because that would mean poisoning her uncle will have to wait, but she agrees for her mother’s sake.

Have Fortinbras be in this, and aside from having serious beef with Scarlet after her dad killed his father years ago, it’s been decided that the two will be spending time together to keep either of them out of trouble. His sickly old uncle, Old Fortinbras, doesn’t trust Claudius sending his niece to his homeland but is intrigued once he finds out Scarlett wants to kill her uncle.

We actually see King Claudius slowly hating the idea of being in charge and how much better Amleth was at ruling a kingdom. He and Scarlett don’t see eye to eye, especially about seeking vengeance and how it’s pointless—a nod to the original play when Claudius tells Hamlet that losing a father is normal and that you can’t hold onto pain forever. His reason for killing his brother is the fact that Amleth refused to make peace with Norway or apologize for his misdeeds and poisoned him, Shakespeare-style, between that and the sibling rivalry growing up and past jealousy. 

As for Gertrude, she isn't a horrible mother in this portrayal, and we learn that she was a prisoner of war as a child, and Amleth (a prideful man away from his family) took her as his wife. Claudious had been one of the very few people to help her fit in and promised that if anything happened to Amleth, they would work together. Gertrude is a good parent to Scarlett, but she can’t help but be reminded of her late husband from time to time.

In this version, Scarlett learns about her father messing up in the past and people resembling her brutal fighting tactics to her father when he was young. She realizes that Amleth is not the perfect guy she thought he was.

Hijiri is still in this and is a paramedic, but he is actually from Scarlett’s era and came to Norway in order to learn more about medicine to help his country back home. He has a minor role.

Have Polonious, Laertes, and Ophelia be in the story, but with a slightly bigger role. In this version, Laertes and Ophelia were Scarlett’s childhood friends before Amleth’s death. After the princess leaves for Norway, Polonius, Claudius's and Amleth's old friend, fills in for Scarlet’s role for decision-making. Things really come to a head when they notice Claudius making some poor choices and question him at prayer, which Claudius denies. Once word of a Norwegian invasion arrives and plots of assassination reach the council unnoticed, the trio decide to hold a trial against their own ruler.

There is actually going to be a Norwegian invasion of Denmark like in the finale, but it’s also the part where Claudious and Scarlett duel each other to figure out who is in charge of Denmark. If Scarlett wins, she lets Normandy become Denmark’s ally, and she becomes queen, but if Claudious wins, the invaders will be locked up and Fortinbras will be hanged. Despite this, the fight is long-lasting, and the only thing that stops it early is after Scarlet herself is wounded by the poison blade. Hijiri rushes in to nurse her back to health as many of the onlookers find out Claudious had in fact killed his brother. The court of Denmark holds a trial, and when they ask him why he hated his brother and killed him, Claudius responds with, “I acted out of jealousy without thinking of the consequences; now I regret it". Scarlett overhears this and, remembering her time in Norway, decides to not seek revenge against her uncle.

The ending will go a lot differently than the Shakespeare one. Claudius steps down as king but does his best to help his newly crowned niece to avoid the mistakes he did. Hijiri gets a job at the city’s hospital and has become friends with Gerta, Lartes, and Ophelia and is in a romantic relationship with Rose. Gertrude, Claudius, and Scarlett are taking family therapy or something (I have no clue on how they coped in the time period Hamlet was set in), and Fortinbras decides to be with Scarlett because he loves her. We get a shot of the castle and the capital from a far shot before the scene fades to black.
