Winner of 'Best DJ of Rio' by the magazine Ăpoca, winner of the 'Brazilian Music Award â Foundation of Arts 2012', and veteran at the Red Bull Music Academy, Jonas also produces several parties in Rio, among others Reza, Croma and the legendary Bootleg party that has run for over ten years. He performed at the 2013 edition of Rock in Rio and has since become a reference on the Brazilian edit and nu-disco scene as producer and artist Joutro Mundo.
Joutro Mundoâs fourth release on the London-based label Midnight Riot was released in May 2017 on digital and vinyl in a series of special Brazilian edits. In 2017 Joutro Mundo also released a 10â from Barefoot Beats (Mareh Music) including a track from JKriv, a 7â collaboration with Fatnotronic from Hello Sailor, and participated with the track âNĂŁo forceâ on a 12â from LA-based Chit Chat Records.
Founder of a project aiming to preserve the indigenous chants of the neglected indigenous tribes of South America, whilst working to approach contemporary music, Jonas won the award 'Funarte de MĂșsica Brasileira' with the CD Cantos YawanawĂĄ. In 2017 Jonas released the album InĂș with Xiti Nukini and has one more project in finalization with the Brazilian tribe Huni-Kuin.
