There’s a frustrating trend online where people feel the need to justify their dislike for something by creating moral arguments about why it’s bad and they would force others into agreeing with their negative viewpoint because they want to appear as “woke.”

However, you could simply say “I dislike this thing/person” and the fans would act like you killed their mom, asking a bunch of questions like “omg why?? How could you hate this thing/person? Is it or are they problematic?” “You’re stupid for hating this thing/person” and those fans are also part of the problem.

People should be allowed to dislike things that don't appeal to them or that they simply don't care for. There is no need for uniformity of opinion in either side.

No one is entitled to liking anyone or anything just because they’re deemed good and unproblematic by most people, and you shouldn’t force people to hate someone or something because of some subjective moral reasoning you made up just to feel morally superior.
