a lovely anon asked if i could do a tutorial for how to make pixel textures for gif icons, so here it is ! there will be pictures along the way & i’ll try my best to explain everything as clearly as i can, but it’s very easy & i hope you find this helpful ! all you need is PHOTOSHOP ( i use CS6, but it should work the same in other versions ), a GIF/IMAGE, & maybe a PSD. this will be put in steps so it’s easier to follow !

I know celebrity roleplays/characters are popular right now and who doesn’t like having their character do a magazine shoot or something of the sort? I never see templates of magazines that I actually read so I always end up making my own but I’ve decided to share these two templates for everyone else to use. These are extremely easy to use: all you have to do is be able to edit text layers and use clipping masks. You can change colors and such but I wanted to keep this as simple as possible for all beginner PS users. All I ask is that you don’t redistribute/claim as your own or use this as a base without my permission. Like/reblog if using!

template 001 - instagram

hi guys! this is my first ever template! it consists of two .psd files, titled PROFILE and POST (take a guess to which one is which). it includes:

- the two .psd files i just mentioned

- uses the font segoe ui (not included)

- completely editable text (except for the ‘add a comment…’ in the POST file)

- 800 x 609 image size

- edit profile, follow, and following buttons (along with video and multiple picture icons) for the profile

- follow and following buttons (there is no button if it’s your account) along with an option to like the photo, a play video button, and a picture dot thing at the bottom for multiple picture posts (it only comes with three, but it certainly wouldn’t be hard to add another one if you wanted to) for the post

- my eternal love and appreciation for using my template

Fix Tumblr’s new controls!

I have come up with 3 ways you can fix the tumblr controls on your blog:

The tumblr controls are always visible but are smaller and more appealing to the eye.

The tumblr controls are again smaller but are only visible on hover over a small icon.

The default controls are replaced by custom links.
