Happy Juneteenth!! I realized I haven't posted this here so I thought today would be fitting :D here are some doodles I made in wiggly paint back in April of Christian and Jay from @joshuadavidking 's Novel and audio drama "Project Super Crush"!!
I found out about this series probably around midway through the release of act 1 of the audio drama and I LOVED it, I've listened to it at least 5 times by now and I'm probably due for a 6th listen soon XD
Congratulations to JDK for the release of act 3!! I'm dying to read the novel but unfortunately I'm not in a position nor environment where I can freely spend money, just another year or so and I will be buying the CDs and keychains, TRUST 🙏, on the other hand I'm so excited for whenever act 2 of the drama releases!!
Okok now for more about the actual drawings, (which were drawn while I relistened to act 1 lolol) for Christian's drawing, I tried to reference the scene where he makes note of how Jay's jacket is oversized along with his loc falling over his eyes, and for Jay, of course I had to reference the running scene XD but I also tried to include the way and how often Christian says his (last) name
Uhhh anyway! I really like this series and everyone should at the very least go give the audio drama a listen right now!!

Hmmmm... Well the last book I read was Song of Achilles and I enjoyed that. Queer geek mythology stuff. In terms of a physical novel. Digital ... I enjoyed project super crush recently by @joshuadavidking queer audio drama / online novel on gumroad about two black boys in college . Very slice of like and fluffy . :3

I’ve been so inspired by the love that I’ve gotten for Project Super Crush over here on tumblr! As a writer, I’ve always wanted a space (more chill than twitter) where I can just put my thoughts!
