It’s raining very hard now. They suddenly came unexpectedly, and they knocked our power out, but only for a few seconds, and it came back on, which I hope it stays on. If you are anywhere in Pike County, KY, or Mingo County, WV, stay safe and keep an eye out. We are now under a flood watch, so if you happen to be driving and see a flood in your path, please do not attempt to drive through. Turn around, and don’t drown!

Note: It took me hours to make this picture until I was satisfied, and I did so in recognition of not only Easter but also Passover. I did this picture from my heart! I made the text "Happy Easter" filled with colored eggs, the "and" filled with spring flowers, and the "Happy Passover" filled with matzah (which is unleavened bread, an integral element of the passover). Then I tried to think of everything related to both Easter and Passover, which is why you see the Star of David, eggs, bunnies, stars, butterflies, a cross, etc.

About two weeks ago, I said I would share a couple of pictures of my birthday dinner, including my birthday cake and my birthday food. I kept forgetting I was supposed to share a couple of pictures I said I would about two weeks ago, but now that I remember, I'd better do it before I forget again. I tell you, the older you get, the easier it is for you to forget things.

For my birthday, I was asked what kind of cake I'd like, and I said German chocolate cake, one of my favorites, which my mom made. I was also asked what food I'd like to have for my birthday, and I said pizza from Pizza Hut, which I have been craving, but I've been staying away from them and other foods to maintain my diet. But for my birthday, I figured I'd ease up the restriction a bit. They were delicious as always, especially my mom's German Chocolate cake. If you have never tried German chocolate cake, go to the store, get a mixer, and make it yourself, or have a bakery shop make one for you.

It's not the government, it's scammers! Please share this: to protect everyone's safety, don't respond to text messages, social media messages, or phone calls claiming to be from or to be working for a government agency. Please share this to raise awareness so they don't become one of the 110+ million people in America (about 41% of American adults), as AARP reported. What prompted me to write an article to raise awareness is that I was one of many who received a text message, but I already knew it was a scam, and I realized some people may not be aware of scams like this.
