Remember that concept artwork I posted a little while ago? Well, that project never came to fruition, but the creature design was adapted to another film, and I designed the poster for it! The final cut of the film is still in editing, and I’ll be sharing that when it’s done, but here’s a clean no-text version of the poster!

I tend not to post unfinished work on here, but I liked this one enough in its half-finished state to share it. This was intended to be the cover of a Queen playlist I was working on, and eventually I might get around to finishing it

These are some cheat sheets I made earlier this year for some friends who were struggling to understand certain lessons in their Drawing 101 class. It was fun to return to some of the basics and condense them into easily-digestible visual aids. My friends told me these were incredibly useful, so maybe they’ll be useful to some people on here.

Over the past couple years, I’ve been painting a lot of gifts and commissions for family and friends, and I’ve decided to post some of them here, with permission of course. First is a painting of my amazing girlfriend’s dog (well, one of them). 

And while I’m outing myself as a MASSIVE Beatlemaniac, I might as well plug my Spotify playlists. First is my Complete Beatles Discography playlist, which covers their entire career front to back, in (mostly) chronological order. Then there’s my more recent Top 100 playlist, which is the end result of a 6-month journey to research and study each and every Beatles song ever recorded. Then I ranked my 100 favorite Beatles songs in order from best to... well, less best, and made a playlist out of it. I recommend the first playlist if you’re interested in following the Beatles’ long and winding career in a convenient format. The second playlist works very well as a general “best of” compilation.

Some dog sketches I did a little while ago

I saw Bohemian Rhapsody over the weekend, and boy, it was an experience. I’ve been a pretty big Queen fan for years, and the main criticism I have of the movie is that it had to end. I would have watched two more hours of those performances, personalities, and drama.
