Unabridged

Long time no see ~ sooo much shit has happened:

- I won an award lol well kinda! “Nevada IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program” aka the Nevada INBRE UROP! I get a fat ass stipend this summer to conduct biomedical research so das cool

- I’m moving in with my boyfriend!!! We both didn’t renew our apartment leases for next semester, and are on a mission to find a house!!! Supaaa stoked

- I did wonders for my GPA last semester lol but I did 21 credits this semester so who knows, maybe it’ll go back down haha

- I registered to take the MCAT and I began studying as of yesterday ... yikes lol we’ll see how it goes

- I’m shadowing the head of UNR Family Medicine which is cool because it’s most likely the specialty I would like to do? Possibly? Idk lol

- I turned 21!!!! And I haven’t done anything about it!!! Lol my life is in tatters!!!

- I really, really, really miss my friends. They’re all abroad or in relationships or doing something’ idk

- I started a campus chapter of She’s the First! A non-profit NGO dedicated to supporting girls’ education in low-income countries and communities! Lol henlo it me, Madame President :D haha but in all seriousness, this club means so much to me, considering I was the first in my family to go to college, and I believe my education has given me so much opportunity to grow! :’) Can’t wait to serve as its leader and also can’t wait for my SOME PEOPLE ON MY FUCKING E-BOARD TO STEP THE FUCK UP AND DO THEIR FUCKING JOBS 

- I became a biology and microbiology tutor and honestly it’s going by okay, it scares me sometimes though when I have an MCAT student and I’m like woah chill I haven’t even taken that yet hoe

- I miss my fam

- I miss my boyfriend’s fam lol 

- Oh, I have a really bad chest cold right now that I caught from lab :-) yee

- I went out last weekend and wasn’t expecting to have a good time pero I did lol so that’s cool!!!! s/o to my boo, divya, sid, & luka for being cool with me being a mess lol kamikazes are delicious

- I gained weight, lol go figure

- I haven’t attended class in weeks because I’ve lost all motivation to attend school and I question my major everyday hahahahahahahaha wow

- I cook more often, but only to distract myself I guess

- I literally have $0 isn’t that hilarious

- Juztis got a new haircut, but I guess that’s a life update for him and not me??? But he looks so handsome??? Idk it’s a bonus for me 

- I finished Versailles on Netflix ... I’m bored

- OH SHIT LOL I forgot! I got certified to do mice work for my research lab and that’s what I’ve been up to since last semester!! Anyway, it’s really cool. It’s like, in the basement of the medical school, and you gotta suit up in this big ugly blue tracksuit, paper booties, purple gloves that go halfway down your arm and white paper sleeves to cover them, and a hair net!! But yeah, I handle mice pretty well I gotta say, not skittish or squirmy at all :D it’s still pretty sad tho lol they’re cute
