This is why tumblr is my only form of social media. Because no one on tumblr cares about their “audience.” At least not in the same way as one might on twitter, reddit, snapchat, or, especially, instagram and tiktok. You can have a 30,000 note post and 5 followers. You can consistently get 0 notes and have 1,000 followers. I’ve tried all other forms of social media and it never stuck. I feel like tumblr is the last bastion, for all it’s faults and flaws.
