Important facts you need to know about the Ebola outbreak and ebola symptoms. New Videos posted every week! SUBSCRIBE. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheCoolFactShow Learn to recognize the symptoms of ebola. Do you know what is ebola? Ebola is a disease that affects humans and other primates caused by virus. It's believed that at some point the virus made the jump from some other primate to a human and then the virus spread through human-to-human contact. The CDC claims the ebola virus could be controlled if in the UNited States. The First cases of Ebola were found in a village near the Ebola River in Democratic Republic of the Congo, from which the disease takes its name. After an incubation period of two to 21 days, symptoms and signs of Ebola virus disease include: -abrupt fever -headache -joint pain -muscle aches -sore throat -weakness. Progression of Ebola symptoms includes: -diarrhea -vomiting -stomach pain -hiccups -rash -internal and external bleeding in many patients. Recovery from Ebola depends on good supportive care and the patient’s immune response. These basic interventions can significantly improve the chances of survival: -providing intravenous fluids and balancing electrolytes -maintaining oxygen status and blood pressure -treating other infections if they occur. More than 6000 people died from Ebola in 2014. The average Ebola case fatality rate is around 50%. There are currently no licensed Ebola vaccines but potential candidates are undergoing evaluation. Some vaccines have been authorized for use because of the current outbreak. The Ebola virus can be spread by direct contact with blood and secretions, by contact with blood and bodily fluids and secretions that remain on clothing, and by needles and/or syringes used to treat Ebola-infected patients. Unless someone is symptomatic they cannot spread ebola.
The Senate Intelligence Committee's summary report on the CIA's torture program revealed shameful truths about how the United States tortured its prisoners in CIA black prison sites. New Videos Every Week! SUBSCRIBE! https://www.youtube.com/user/TheCoolFactShow To give you a sense of how outrageous and disturbing the CIA acted here are 15 disgraceful revelations from the Senate Intelligence Committee's report on CIA torture. Huge human rights violations. 1. The CIA put hummus in a detainee's rectum. They claim it is a recognized method by which to feed people. When the words "rectal rehydration" and "rectal feeding" are on page 4 you know it's going to be disturbing. 2. Walling. Walling is the practice of slamming someone against a wall. The CIA documented with loving detail the process. Suspect Abu Zubaydah alleged that "a collar was used to slam him against a concrete wall." 3. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was water boarded at least 183 times. At one point he was unresponsive with bubbles coming out of his mouth. He wasn't a good person and he was accused of orchestrating the September 11 attacks but are we better than he was or not? 4. At least 26 out of 119 known detainees were wrongfully held. That’s 26 innocent people that America tortured for no good reason. 5. Interrogators broke people’s legs and feet and then forced detainees to stand on them. 6. Water boarding sessions where worse than anyone could imagine. Inmates were put very close to death repeatedly. 7. Abu Zubaydah lost his right eye in CIA custody 8. The CIA conducted torture sessions knowing they'd worsen detainees' injuries. Even on critically ill inmates. 9. Detainees were kept awake for as long as 180 hours that’s more than a week long with no sleep. 10. The interrogations probably killed at least one person but more likely several people. 11. CIA interrogators threatened to sexually assault the mother of a detainee and kidnap their families. 12. Some CIA interrogators objected to the torture but were ordered to keep going by commanding officers. 13. The CIA tortured people before they even tried asking them to cooperate 14. The CIA lied to the White House about the effectiveness of torture. They portrayed torture as an effective tool. Arguably no actionable intelligence was gained 15. They refused to impose disciplinary sanctions on an interrogator involved in a detainee's death 16. The report states that no important actionable information was gained from the torture program. Im sure you all have different opinions on this mess. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

When this happens, the brain does not get enough oxygen or nutrients which causes brain cells to die. Stroke can be caused by: -arteries that connect to the brain becoming blocked or narrowed -arteries in the brain leaking blood or bursting open -the flow of blood to the brain is only disrupted temporarily for a short time. Strokes occur quickly, so symptoms often appear suddenly without warning. There are 3 types of stroke: Ischemic strokes, Hemorrhagic strokes and Transient ischemic attack. They require different forms of treatment. 5 million people die and another 5 million are permanently disabled by strokes, each year! CANCER The major types of cancer: -Carcinomas -- the most commonly diagnosed cancers -- originate in the skin, lungs, breasts, pancreas, and other organs and glands. -Lymphomas are cancers of lymphocytes. -Leukemia is cancer of the blood. Subscribe. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheCoolF... The Redback Spider (Latrodectus hasseltii) is a dangerous spider endemic to Australia. It is a close cousin of pretty known black widow, which is found throughout the world. The female is easily recognisable by her black body with a prominent red stripe on the back of her abdomen. Females have a body length of about a centimetre, while the male is smaller, being only 3 to 4 mm long. The redback spider is one of few arachnids which usually display sexual cannibalism while mating. Brown Recluse Spider This spider is a native of the United States. A seemingly innocuous spider, yet its bite can wreak all kinds of havoc on humans. Brown Recluse spiders like to hide away in dark places, such as boxes, under furniture and around books. Symptoms of having been bit by this spider include redness and swelling around theThe brown recluse spider is rarely aggressive, and bites from the species are uncommon. In 2001, more than 2,000 brown recluse spiders were removed from a heavily infested home in Kansas, yet the four residents who had lived there for years were never harmed by the spiders, despite many encounters with them. bite, as well as nausea, fever, vomiting and shivering. The Sydney funnel-web spider (Atrax robustus) is a species of Australian funnel-web spider usually found within a 100 km (62 mi) radius of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is a venomous spider with a bite capable of causing serious injury or death in humans if left untreated. Brazilian wandering spiders Armed spider or banana spiders, are a genus of defensive and venomous spiders of potential medical significance to humans. They are mainly found in tropical South America, with one species in Central America. The Brazilian wandering spiders appear in Guinness World Records from 2010 as the world’s most venomous spider. However, several venomous species of arachnid are far more likely to attack a human, and the Guinness book of World Records states that although the Brazilian wandering spider is the most toxic, more deaths actually occur from black widow and brown recluse spider bites, due to the rarity of the Wandering spider biting anyone. Brazilian wandering spiders are widely considered the most venomous species of spider. At deadly concentrations, their venom causes loss of muscle control and breathing problems, resulting in paralysis and eventual asphyxiation. In addition, the venom causes intense pain and inflammation following a bite. Aside from causing intense pain, the venom of the spider can also cause erection which can last for many hours and can lead to impotence. Black Widow Spider Latrodectus mactans, or Southern black widow or simply black widow, is a highly venomous species of spider. They are well known for the distinctive black and red coloring of the female of the species and for the fact that she will occasionally eat her mate after reproduction (hence the name – Black widow). The species is native to North America. The venom might be fatal to humans.
