I'd heard plenty about this place, but funnily enough had avoided it for ages.

Possibly something to do with tumblr mercilessly terminating every account I attempted to create, fifteen times in a row (that was a bad day, aye). And so, I decided from that day onward that tumblr and I were not meant to be. But simple bitterness and determination will only get you so far, and one day, the weight of all the endless recommendations from friends and associates comes crashing down. Seriously, apparently people really, really like this site. So yeah. Here I am. You win, tumblr.

Mind you, the media in general does not exactly...heap praise, let us say, on some aspects of this site. Let's speak no more of that. Open mind and all that. I'll just let you guys you all prove yourselves, one way or another...

Still, I'm not totally convinced. Only the naive think that their pet forum is the last bastion of rational thought; everything has a hivemind. But I'm willing to give this a go. Please don't bite (no, seriously, the human mouth is full of bacteria, just don't go there)
