It makes no sense goin to heaven w/ the goodie goodies.

At times I've felt lost & in need of some help, More times I've found myself falling farther from wealth, But I've always believed in my grind, I never doubted myself.

You let me cry, reminding me I don't always have to be the shoulder. You saw my worth, at a point in life where I chose to ignore it. I was my own kryptonite, but you were the cure...

Hope Anita Smith. One of my favorite poets, and she is from Ohio like myself. I remember reading her poem, "The Power of One," and loving the poem due to its accuracy of my grandmother despite the poem's simplicity. She is an amazing poet and writer, and I would definitely recommend reading her work including her books "The Way a Door Closes," and "Keeping The Night Watch."
