Graviton Lifebomb is my band Order of Týr’s 4th album. Released July 1st, 2015, it continues our style of reimagining video game music, melodies, and themes in a Progressive Metal context. Thrown into the mix are original vocals and melodies, as well as chip sounds and lead synths either created by or emulating sounds from the the Nintendo Game Boy, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or the Sega Genesis. Not only do I play drums for Order of Týr, but I did quite a bit of programming on this album as well as the mixing and the mastering of it.

Just realized I hadn't mention Saturnian yet. This band is incredible. I pre-ordered Dimensions back in 2012 based solely upon hearing Into Etheria. It was a great decision. The entire album is absolutely incredible.

It’s a long way off still, but started mocking up a music maker for the Game Boy, which I’ve called Bleep for now.

The other day I made a basic music engine, and I’m looking to expand that into a music tool, with design inspiration from Mario Paint, Wario Ware DIY, and Sound Club.

The mockup uses to 8x16 tall sprites together to draw the piano, which floats over the musical score in the background layer. The cursor and tooltip bubble are also sprites.
