Nine reasons why Meetup networking groups fail

I recently shutdown two Meetup business networking groups due to lack of participation and engagement. There are at least nine reasons why Meetup networking groups fail.

There are many different reasons to organize a meetup networking group. With so many hours spent in front of a computer monitor or on a digital device, meetup groups are an excellent way to meet face-to-face with others in your community.

In addition, meetups are the ideal place for first-time speakers to get their feet wet for giving presentations. (more…)

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce hosted a n excellent after work networking event on June 27, 2017 at Lucky Strike in New York City. Located deep at the far end of Hells Kitchen, this bowladrome provided a wide and spacious venue for networking. Around ninety members participated.
