I don't think Gooseworx should have been banned on Tumblr but the amount of people who are actively defending her or downplaying her part in the "negative" controversy and that she didn't even say anything about it until the fans started shit at actual conventions kinda just confirms that as long as you're a white queer person you can get away with ignorance or 'jokes' because you are queer. Being queer does not excuse you from things you may have done to hurt other minority groups. Does your voice actors/fans actions immediately reflect who you are as a person? No, but her silence until things went too far was eyebrow raising in the least.

the best part about her is that all her "lorebait" is written to be funny first and foremost and only takes on a second reading when you take it out of its context (which to be clear i think is what you're supposed to do). and it's very important that it is a reading she is herself completely unaware of, as the conceit of the mikes is to allow for a setting that pretends to be ignorant of its own implications... it's a cruel thing to force the green pippins into literal high stakes plot heavy hijinks. it disrespects the soul of her character... must you throw that away for the superficial aspiration of plot relevance? don't you like two layered fun parody mipi...? is she not enough for you... don't you care for her....
