Hello! Some of you may remember there was a shinee fic fest going on this summer. In case you didn’t know, the fics have been revealed and have been posted on AO3, in case you wanna have fun and wanna go read them!

Aside from that though, the admin have decided to leave up the prompts in case other people couldn’t take part in the fest or didn’t feel up to the task of filling a prompt for a specific deadline. 

lol to be honest I’ve never updated this blog’s graphics, they remained as they were when Miko and I first started this blog years ago.  Lately I’ve been thinking of renovating things a bit, but I’m hesitant because Miko has long ago dropped this project and I don’t think my aesthetic sense’s as good as hers^^” (without mentioning that I’m too lazy to even attempt lol) Well, long story short, I had never even noticed we didn’t have a profile background picture lol I guess I’ll work on it, eventually! Kibum had loved to be surprised like that and even though it had never felt like fun to wish his best friend goodbye for another weekend, Kibum always looked forward to spending time with his father. It didn't matter where or when. He was lucky, they had said. Everything would've been different had he not decided to sit in the passenger's seat of the car, they had said. He should be happy with the second chance God had given him, they had said. At least he was still alive, they had said. It was lucky he woke up in the hospital and didn't remember the crash, they had said. But even if he could, Kibum had no desire whatsoever to hear those words.Lucky? Second chance? None of it he considered as luck. Everything about that Friday afternoon was as it should have been. Until their car got hit by another. Until it sent their car spinning. you’re welcome darling! I’m sorry I haven’t updated in a while again, but I had some personal issues to take care of (plus, as I had mentioned, I don’t plan to be as active as I used to be in the first place anyway). 

I admit I also felt a bit discouraged by the few responses, I was starting to think that maybe I was really the only one left on tumblr still interested in jongkey fics. But it’s encouraging to know that I’m not indeed and that this blog is still useful to some of you out there. I know it’s hard, given what what happened. 

What you told me really means a lot to me... I’m really grateful that you sent me this message. I wholeheartedly appreciated it.

Hello! I’ve stumbled across this event on twitter and I thought it would be nice to share it with you alll. I’ve seen they had an amazing response for this event and lots of prompts were submitted, a satisfactory amount of jongkey ones included.  From what I’ve gathered though, JongKey prompts usually don’t get as much attention as others and many remain unclaimed, which I personally think it’s a pity. So to all of you jongkey writers who may be looking for a challenge or something to stimulate your inspiration and wish for writing, I warmly suggest you to go take a look at their rules and prompt sheet: you may find something that catches your interest  ♥ Who knows, you could also help revive both your and other shipper’s attention to this pairing

Though I admit I made this post mainly having jongkey in mind (as it is fterall my favourite shinee ship), I suggest you to check this out in general: it’s a fun initiative, it seems to be very well organised and you may find prompts regarding other pairings that might inspire you to get writing.

The one with the scar on his eyebrow, sitting along at the table near the window. But Jonghyun forgets everything he had prepared to say, once those pretty eyes are on him. And his inner astrology nerd comes out. 

Title: Forbidden Author: Joorin-sshi Status: ongoing Pairing: 2min, side!Jongkey Rating: NC17 Genre: fantasy, adventure, romance Summary: His existence is a sin, he is supposed to stay hidden from the supernatural and yet, when his mother is taken, Taemin dives head-first into the Otherworld in a quest for her. There, he meets Onew, a kitsune who claims to have been a very close friend of his mother and whom offers him help. He also crosses paths with two werewolves: Minho, a bloody-thirsty beast in quest for revenge and Jonghyun, who only seems to wand to bring his brother back home. They are soon joined by Kibum, a suspiscious gumiho, who they later discover is much closer to Taemin than they all expected. They all have their own quests and desires, and yet they find themselves playing according to a bigger scheme than anything they have ever known or imagined. And as a myth turns into reality, a prophecy is set into motion.

Side note: the author actually didn’t specify any rating (at least from what I’ve seen). I’m not really good with the english rating system, so I’m sorry if I didn’t pick the right one for this fic. Furthermore, even if JongKey is not the main pairing of this story, I do think it is a story worth being suggested. It’s generally engaging and well-developed. Without mentioning that I really enjoy the jongkey in this fic, even if it isn’t the main pairing.  Last but not least, be warned: this story contains mpreg.
